FOREWORD
Under the new normal environment, Practice Teaching has been modified to adapt to the
modifications on the learning curriculum, learning modality and teaching approaches used in the
learning environment. The observance of strict health protocols have become a major rule for this
deployment. The activities in this module are designed to provide additional insights for the
aspiring teacher to learn in order to supplement the exposure in the field which has been limited
by the Pandemic. It is important that in every aspect of being a Teacher, the intern has deeply-
thought on reflections to have a better perspective of the profession he/she plans to pursue.
This module is focused on the development of the “global teacher” who is equipped with
the standards indicated in the Philippine Professional Teaching Standards (PPST) who can
respond to the needs of the profession and to the trends of the entire educational system of the
world.
It is hoped that the student teachers will put prime importance in forming their own
reflections about Teaching and be able to improve their performance throughout the Student
Teaching program.
