The Philippine National Police is the armed, civilian national police force in the Philippines.
Its national headquarters is at Camp Crame in Quezon City, Metro Manila. They enforce the law,
prevent and control crimes, maintain peace and order, and ensure public safety and internal

The Fire Bureau shall be responsible for the prevention and suppression of
all destructive fires on buildings, houses and other structures, forest, land
transportation vehicles and equipment, ships or vessels docked at piers or
wharves or anchored in major seaports, petroleum industry installations,
plane crashes and other similar incidents, as well as the enforcement of the
Fire Code and other related laws.
The Fire Bureau shall have the power to investigate all causes of fires
and, if necessary, file the proper complaints with the city or provincial
prosecutor who has jurisdiction over the case.
Department of Environment and National Resources (DENR)
The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) is responsible for the
conservation, management, and development of the country's environment and natural
resources. It shall ensure the proper use of these resources and the protection of the
environment within the framework of sustainable development.
The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) is the government agency responsible
for the development, improvement, management and conservation of the country's fisheries and
aquatic resources.
The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) is the executive department of the
Philippine Government responsible for the protection of the social welfare of rights of Filipinos and to
promote social development.
The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) is an attached agency of the Department of Finance. It is
tasked to assess and collect all national internal revenue taxes, fees, and charges, and to
enforce all forfeitures, penalties, and fines connected therewith.
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) is responsible for efficient law enforcement of
all provisions on any dangerous drugs and/or precursors and essential chemicals.
Bureau of Customs (BOC) Supervise and control all import and export cargoes, landed or
stored in piers, airports, terminal facilities, including container yards and freight stations, for the
protection of government revenue. Exercise exclusive original jurisdiction over seizure and
forfeiture cases under the tariff and customs laws.
The Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC) is the agency of the Government of the Philippines that
is tasked to implement the provisions of Republic Act No. 9160, also known as the “Anti-Money
Laundering Act of 2001” (AMLA), as amended, and Republic Act No. 10168. They are mandated to
investigate money laundering and other violations of the AMLA in order to protect the integrity and
confidentiality of bank accounts and to ensure that the Philippines shall not be used as money
laundering site for the proceeds of any unlawful activity. The AMLC shall extend cooperation in
transnational investigation and prosecution of persons involved in money laundering activities wherever
committed.
The Criminal Investigation and Detection Group is the primary investigation arm of the Philippine
National Police.
