Viral eBook Guide

What is a viral product?

A viral product, like this one, is a product that you can add your own website links inside of, save it a PDF, and then
distribute the product to your own customers, who in turn will be distributing it to their customers with your links(s) still
inside of the product.

Note: These products usually do not come with Private Label Rights; they are generally Master Resale products that can be
rebranded.

Why is viral a good marketing tool?

Viral ebooks are an excellent way, and free way to get your name, product, service, or website out and circulated around
the internet and really no cost to you.

It’s as good as word of mouth advertising (also free), and the beauty of it is the viralized product may be circulated for years
to come.

Quick Example:

You setup a viral ebook, and you distribute it to only 10 people. If those 10 people distribute it to 10 people as well, and
those 100 people distribute it to 10 people each… well you get the idea. See example below.

You Distribute 10 10
Second Level Distribute 10 100
Third Level Distribute 10 1000
Fourth Level Distribute 10 10,000

That’s 10,000 people who now have a product with your links inside of it.

So you see how easily and rapidly your marketing information can be spread around the internet. This is a great way to
generate free traffic, and gain brand recognition.

This is a great tool if used properly.

Setting up Your Viral eBook

Now, let’s viralize this ebook.

This product comes with an ebook in PDF format, and should also include a second copy of that book in .DOC, or .RTF
format. This is the document that you will be editing.

1. First open the editable version of the ebook (.DOC, or .RTF), example – The eBook.rtf
2. Locate a position in the ebook where you would like to display you’re link.

3. Type in some information, and include your link there as well.

Example: This eBook is Brought to you by: “Your Name (or website)”
http://www.yoursite.com

Note: remember to include the http://www. In the link so that when you convert it back to PDF format the link will stay
intact. As the software you are using to convert Microsoft© Word®, and Rich Text Format document into PDF’s may not be
able to keep links that do not include the http://www. active. It usually requires more expensive PDF conversion software,
with these advanced features built into keep all link styles intact. Like “Adobe PDF Maker©”

Link location Alternatives:

1. Under the eBook Title on the First page

2. In the “Header or Footer” in Microsoft© Word® documents –

 Open the document (ebook) in MS Word


 From top navigation bar select “View”
 On drop down select “Header and Footer”
 Choose which area to add your information, either the header or footer. Use this icon
 Type in your information
 Select Close
 Now you’re information. (See bottom of this document for an example)

3. At the end of your document on the last page.

Saving your rebranded (viralized) ebook

 Now you need to use your PDF creation software to save your document into PDF format. (if you do not have a
PDF conversion software, get one free at www.pdf995.com ).
 You’re ebook is now ready.

Remember to remove the editable .RTF, or .DOC document so that you’re customers cannot edit the ebook the same way
that you just did.
