When using AutoGMT, make sure that the correct time settings are set on the
computer / hosting!
Some people have wrong trading hours when using the AutoGMT.
The reason is that your VPS is not having the correct time settings (so that the actual
time doesn’t correspond with the real time of the time zone).
The easiest way to set it up correctly is this:
A) Right click the time in your taskbar, and select “adjust date/time”
B) For “TimeZone” select UTC +00:00, LONDON time
C) Then, make sure your Time (especially the “hour”) corresponds with the actual time
in London, which you can simply google (Time London) or check here for
example: https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/uk/london
The Reaper is a night scalper, which means it will trade from 1 hour before rollover
time, till 1 hour after rollover time.
For most brokers (that use GMT+2 in winter and GMT+3 in summer) that means from
23h till 1h
The EA has an infopanel, which shows WHEN the EA will start trading (“Time To Start”).
Make sure that this hour corresponds with 1 hour before rollover.
So if your broker’s rollover is at 0:00, the Time To Start should be “23:00” from monday
till thursday.
For friday, it will always be 1 hour later (so “0:00”) because we don’t trade the hour
before the weekend starts.
If your broker uses GMT-0 for example, rollover will be at 21h, and Time To Start should
be “20:00” in the infopanel.
The EA uses an AUTOGMT function, based on GMT time retrieved from a website. This
function is to make sure the EA is always trading at the correct times.

PLEASE NOTE:During the weekend, the Marketwatch window will simply display
the hour of friday closing time, and the “Time To Start” will not show correctly. 
don’t worry about that as it will adjust as soon as markets open.
ALSO NOTE:  for backtesting, AutoGMT will NOT work, and you must adjust the
Winter/Summer GMT Offset parameters according to your broker’s pricefeed.
To check your broker’s rollover time, simply go to your marketwatch, right click the
EURUSD symbol and select “specification”.  Then scroll all the way down in the
specification window and seen when Rollover start:

Settings and Description:
– ShowInfoPanel: enable the information panel on the chart
– Adjustment for InfoPanel size: for 4K screens, use value “2” to correctly display
infopanel
– Update infopanel during testing: disabled will run backtests faster
– comment: comment of the trades
– Magicnumber: the magicnumber used by the EA.  this can be the same for all pairs
– OneChartSetup: enable the OneChartSetup (run all optimized pairs from 1 single
chart)
– OneChartSetup_Pairs: pairs to run (only optimized pairs can be used here)
– suffix: the suffix used by your broker must be filled in here when using the
OneChartSetup (for example: EURUSD.m -> suffix is .m
– Max spread allowed before settings trade: the maximum spread allowed before
entering a trade
– spread at which pending orders are deleted: self explanatory
– Mode B: enable mode B (recommended).  This will make the EA more strict in entries,
and bigger exit TP levels.  Overal this performs best on most brokers
– Trade at Weekly Market open: when enabled, the EA will also trade the first hour
when market opens after the weekend.
– Use Market Orders for Entry: by default the EA will use “Limitorders”, but some
brokers don’t like the multiple opening and modification of pending orders.  You can
use this option if your broker starts giving your warnings about that.
– Use Slippage control on Market orders: when not using the Limitorders, there will
be more slippage on entry.  This will try to help the EA deal with that slippage
– Use Virtual TP for exit: instead of using a hard TP which is modified, you can also
use this option if the hard TP modifications is making your  broker nervous
– Randomized Entry in Point: This will ‘shift’ the entry with -X till +X points from the
normal position. Each time X will be randomized from a value between zero and the
value of this parameter.  This option will prevent that all REAPER users are trying to
enter trades at the same price.  And so, when many users use this option, it will
decrease slippage on entry.
– Maximum attemps to set/Modify orders: this will set the number or attempts that
the ea will do when a order failed to be set or modified for some reason.  A too high
number might cause an “overly active” account for your broker
– Minimum minutes between 2 consecutive trades in same direction: this is to
prevent multiple faulty trades opened fast after each other
SWAP FILTER:
– Skip trading on Triple Swap: this will disable trading before the triple swap (usually
wednesday night).  I personally don’t use this option
– TripleSwap day: here you can override the Automatic detection of TripleSwap Day
– Maximum SwapCost allowed (in points): (value “0” means disabled).  Here you can
set a value of the maximum swapcost (in points, for example “-5”) that you want to
allow before setting a trade.
SL/TP SETTINGS:
– stoploss (0=default): allows you to override the internal set stoploss
– Widen SL during rollover: allows you to  widen the SL with X pips during rollover
time.  this is to prevent spread widening causing unwanted SL triggering
– Force Minimum Takeprofit: Here you can force the EA to close trades only with X
pips in profit (instead of sometimes closing trades with negative Takeprofit level)
– CloseOnHour: Here you can force the EA close all trades at hour X.
LOTSIZE SETTINGS:
– Autolotsmode: here you can choose if you want to use a fixed lotsize (StartLots), or
use the LotsizeStep, or use the Risk Per Trade (LotsizeStep is recommended)
– StartLots: the lotsize used for fixed lotsize
– Risk Per Trade: the risk per trade in %.  Lotsize will then be based on SL of the pair
and the risk chosen
– LotsizeStep: the EA will use X lots per Y balance.  for example: LotsizeStep=100
means the EA will use 0.01lots per 100 of balance.  so on 500 balance, it will be
0.05lots.  Keep in mind that these values need to be adjusted to your base currency!  So
when running on JPY account, you can not use value 100, since that would be much too
high in lotsize!
– OnlyUp: this will force the EA to only increase lotsize after profits, but not reduce
lotsize after losses (for faster recovery). Example: if you use LotsizeStep=100, the EA will
use 0.01lots per 100 of balance. so if you balance is 500, it will use 0.05 lots. It the
balance grows to 1000, the lotsize is 0.1lots. If balance then declines back to 700, the
lotsize will remain 0.1lots if OnlyUp is true
– Balance selection for Autolotsize Calculations: here you can choose if the EA
should use Balance or Equity for automatic lotsize calculations
GMT SETTINGS:
– AutoGMT: this will make the EA automatically calculate your broker’s GMT settings.
(your VPS time must be set correctly for this to work)
– GMT offset Winter: when AutoGMT is disabled, set this value to the winter GMT
offset of your broker
– GMT offset Summer:  when AutoGMT is disabled, set this value to the summer GMT
offset of your broker
ROLLOVER SETTINGS:

– Use Rollover Filter: this will enable/disable the rollover filter

– Open order during Rollover: enable opening of trading during the rollover period
– Close orders during Rollover: enable the (virtual) closing of trades during rollover
period (hard TP will still be triggered)
– Rollover start time: time when rollover starts (always based on GMT+2 winter and
GMT+3 summer so your do NOT need to adjust to your broker’s GMT)
– Rollover end time: time when rollover ends (always based on GMT+2 winter and
GMT+3 summer so your do NOT need to adjust to your broker’s GMT)
How to set up the EA:
A) With OneChartSetup enabled:  Simply run the EA on a EURUSD M5 chart with
OneChartSetup enabled, and make sure you filled  in the suffix of your broker’s symbol
names, if it has one.
B) With OneChartSetup disabled: Run the EA on a M5 chart for each of the 14 optimized
pairs.
Make sure you select your lotsize setup.  for USD/EUR accounts, these are the risk
levels for LotsizeStep:

– 400 -> low risk

– 200 -> Medium risk

– 100 -> High risk

FAQ:
 How do I know if the EA is set up correctly?   first, there must be a smiley
face on the chart.  Secondly, check the “Time To Start”.  It should be 1 hour
BEFORE rollover (from monday till thursday). If not, check the beginning of
the blog to see how to set the GMT correctly
 The EA doesn’t trade:  Check your setup again.  Also, check the expert tab
and journal tab for messages.  
 My lotsize is always 0.01lots:  For automatic lotsize, you must set
“autolotmode = use LotsizeStep (or use Risk per trade)”.  Check the list of
parameters above to know which lotsizeStep to use
 My broker is giving me a warning that the account is hyperactive :  You
can first try using OneChartSetup instead of running the EA on all charts
seperately.  If you still get a warning, you lower the “maximum attemps to
set/modify trades” to a lower value.  you can also use the virtual entry
(marketorders) and virtual TP.  This will for sure fix it, but will also risk more
slippage on entry and exit of trades
 I only see trades for EURUSD:  then you are only running on EURUSD.

of interacting pairs

Multi-Currency BRAIN EA in trade uses 4 different Ligaments (8 completely different

currency pairs), with 2 Ligaments being directly correlated, and 2 inversely correlated
for maximum diversification. Even the factor that each currency pair moves up and
down with different forces is taken into account. That is, upward and downward trends
(their strength and movement itself) for each currency pair are DIFFERENT. Therefore, it
is wrong to use the same parameters for BUY and for SELL orders of the same
currency. In Multi-Currency BRAIN, this is all taken into account.

Multi-Currency BRAIN This is a multicurrency EA where several currency pairs interact

simultaneously in trading, which is impossible to see when testing in MT4

It is not typical for most hedging strategies and that the Multi-Currency BRAIN enters
the market not on two currency pairs at the same time, but only on one currency pair
from Ligament, and only on a specific signal.  A hedging order will open only if the open
position goes into minus. And then there is already interaction of two open orders in
the Ligament and the overall result on this Ligament will be taken into account, for
further actions: either profit fixing, or search for entry, also for only one currency pair
from the Ligament.

In addition, the conditions for entering the market for each type of order of each
currency pair are selected so that they are multidirectional in order to diversify all risks
to the maximum. That is, if the currency in one of the Ligament uses the Rebound
strategy, then the same currency, but in the other Ligament, will trade on the basis of
Breakout. And if we take into account the fact that differently correlated bundles are
used, as well as the fact that the positions in the Ligament, for each pair open in
different types, this should not give us similar positions in the same direction on the
same currency.

has to be set in GMT+2 DST:US/EU (corresponds to GMT+2 in winter, GMT+3
in summer) timezone which gives five full 24-hour daily candles each
week and is used by most brokers. The daily candles open at 0:00 during
the bank rollover time. I use default settings. This parameter does not
depend on the broker or PC/VPS local time.
 Monday Trading – true/false – enable or disable trading on Monday
 Tuesday Trading – true/false – enable or disable trading on Tuesday

market. If -1 is set, there are no restrictions
 Max Open Buy – the Maximum allowed number of BUY orders. If -1 is set,
there are no restrictions
 Max Open Sell – the Maximum allowed number of SELL orders. If -1 is set,
there are no restrictions

Add Pending Orders

 Add Pending Orders – Enable or disable adding pending orders by trend
 Distance to pending orders – Distance from the market order to open a
pending order. If there are already pending orders, a new pending order will
not be opened in this direction when the next reversal occurs.
 Order Expiration – the lifetime of a pending order in minutes. For example:
24 hours = 1440 minutes
 Delete Pending if No Market Orders – Delete or not pending orders if the
main trending market order was closed by TP, SL, or profit percentage

Additional parameters of the closure

 Close All on reverse – Close all orders when the trend reverses
 Check Profit Before Closing – take profit into Account before closing
orders. If this parameter is enabled, the expert Advisor will first take into
account the order profit in points specified in the Minimal Profit for Closing
parameter
 Minimum Profit for Closing – the Minimum profit for closing an order
during a reversal, specified in points

SECOND STRATEGY
 Use 2nd Strategy – Enable / Disable trading on the second strategy
(duplicated by the button on the chart)
 Timeframe for 2nd Strategy – Timeframe for opening orders for the
second strategy. An order can be opened on each bar (candle). For example,
if you set the value to M15, you can open 4 orders in 1 hour, and 1 order
every 15 minutes
 Indicator Timeframe for 2nd Strategy – Timeframe for the indicator for
the second strategy. On this timeframe, indicators will be calculated to
search for entry points.
 Allow Buy – Allow opening buy orders (duplicated by the button on the
chart)
 Lot Buy for 2nd Strategy – Volume for Buy orders. This value can also be
set in the order opening panel on the chart
 Allow Sell – Allow opening sell orders (duplicated by the button on the
chart)
 Lot Sell for 2nd Strategy – Volume for Sell orders. This value can also be
set in the order opening panel on the chart
 Minimum distance from the indicator values – the Minimum distance to
the indicator’s trailing levels for opening orders for the second strategy. If
the distance from the current price to the indicator’s trailing lines is less
than the specified value, orders for the second strategy will not be opened.

 Breakeven Level, point – breakeven Level or distance from the price for
the desired breakeven level.
 Breakeven from Order Open Price – Calculate the breakeven level from
the order opening price or from the zero profit level of the order.

 USE TRAILING INDICATOR – Use trailing based on the built-in indicator
 Indicator Shift – Indent of the indicator. We do not recommend a value

based on local time of the computer (GMT_Offset_AUTO=true).

The RSI is the best indicator, and in most cases a divergence on the RSI is a strong
signal for a good entry. But what if after the entry a strong trend has begun ? And how
can you spot the best and most profitable RSI divergences? These are the questions
that many traders ask.
First of all, let’s define two terms. One of these is a “signal” called an RSI peak; and the
other, “entry”, is called the actual opening of a trade when there is a divergence.
So, here are some of the answers to the questions in the first paragraph:

TO SELECT THE CORRECT SIGNALS:

 Filter based on RSI values
 Filter based on Price Action – the signal should appear only after X points
have already been passed, because divergences usually occur at the end of
a trend
 Filter based on ADX values – you can use ADX as an additional indicator
along with RSI
  It will cancel the signal if an opposite one appears – this means that you
cannot have a buy and a sell signal at the same time. The trend will go up or
down.
TO SELECT THE CORRECT INPUT:

of time and price differences

last Z bars = buy low, sell high
 Filter based on ADX + DI and -DI values or ADX discrepancies
 Entered only in case of divergence on several timeframes
ORDER MANAGEMENT:
 Exiting trades with a fixed take profit or based on divergence in the other
direction (DTP – dynamic take profit)
 Fixed or trailing SL
 Automatic lot size calculation

 Blocking trades after a certain percentage of drawdown

How the advisor works:
The EA works on the basis of two indicators with non-standard
parameters. Not the way you used to use them.
Indicators are built into the Expert Advisor and generate signals that are
understandable for

EA waits for signals on a lower timeframe.The EA has 2 modes of operation.

 Magic number – Any unique number, the main thing is that different pairs
have different numbers.
 Additional points to order – The value in points, the distance to the pending
order when a signal appears.
 Mode close – Mode 1 is a fast signal entry and a close by a global trend
reversal . Mode 2 is a fast signal entry and a close by fast signals.
 Percent profit close – profit as a percentage of the deposit at which all
orders will be closed.
 Percent loss close – loss as a percentage of the deposit at which all orders
will be closed.
 Fixet lot – initial lot. If you put 0, then the initial lot is calculated as a
percentage of the deposit.
 Percent from equity – Initial lot as a percentage of the deposit.
 Add lot to next order – add this value to the next lot. This parameter works
in conjunction with the risk value.
 Risk – Risk from 1 to 10. If you put 1, this is the maximum risk. If you put 10
this is the minimum risk.
Lot settings
We recommend placing a dynamic lot (as a percentage of the deposit) and the risk is at
least 7-10.
The EA works on any currency pair. Do not forget to change the MAGIC on each pair. So
that there are no identical magic numbers.
Capital Management
The biggest problem of any trader is greed. It is because of the excess of risks that
most traders merge. The broker does not even need to put a spoke in the wheel, the
trader’s greed will do everything for him.
How to choose the optimal number of currency pairs?
For example, you want to use moderate settings on 4 currency pairs.
Do testing for example on EURUSD, it shows that the maximum drawdown is 50%.
If you set the same settings for 4 pairs, then the total drawdown will be 200%, and this
is a drain on the deposit.
How to do it right?
We take the same settings and reduce the risk using the parameters responsible for
the lot.
For example :
Percent from equity – Initial lot as a percentage of the deposit. You had 1% installed. In
order to bet on 4 pairs, decrease this parameter by 4 and get 0.25.
You can also increase the Risk parameter. For example, you have it set to 5. Set it to 10
and your drawdown will decrease.
