Hello!

Now it's time for you to do the Task for this week. I invite you to check the instructions below. Remember
that if you need to review a topic, you can always go back as many times as you need. Keep in mind
that you have to present this homework during week 3.

1.Learning Outcome

Unidad 1: Looking back to the past

Logro específico de aprendizaje: Al finalizar la unidad, el estudiante explica situaciones del pasado para
desenvolverse en la lengua inglesa a nivel A2 utilizando gramática y vocabulario pertinentes.

2. Lesson Outcome:  
Through this activity, students write a text (80-100 words) about the most important events
in their family history, using the verbs in the past and the vocabulary presented during the week. 

3. Description:  
Step 1: Draw a timeline  
Brainstorm the most important events in your family history (at least five).
For example: your birthday, your baptism, your parents’ wedding, your grandparents’ golden weddin
Look for photographs about those events. 
Register in the timeline the photographs and the year the event happened. 
Look at this example:

Step 2: Write the text


Choose a partner or group of three.
Use your timeline to write the text about the most important events in your family history. Try to
find your common events.

Try to answer these questions:
When did it happen?   
Where did it happen?  
How old were you when the event happened?   
Why was it important for your family?
Remember: 
Write complete sentences in the past.  
Use linking words or connectors to join the sentences: and, or, but.  
For example, you can start like this:
There are many great moments in my family that I want to talk about. My parents started their
life as a couple in 2000 with a beautiful wedding ceremony in “San José” church...
Step 3: Considerations
Take into consideration the following structure:

Include a cover: Your names and last names must be there, include each participant’s photo
Text: Your text must have 80-100 words.
