to school, right? What have you observed about stones? not grow and did not move.

Very Good! Do you know where humans and plants belong? No ma’am!
How about stones? No ma’am!
Okay class, do you want to know where do they belong? Yes ma’am!

class)

My dear pupils, all things that surround us are either


living or non-living things. To determine whether the thing
is living or non-living, you have to carefully observe its
characteristics.

Characteristics of living things:


 Living things grow.
 Living things reproduce.
 Living things breathe
 Living things need food.
Examples are humans, plants, insects, and animals.

Now this time, I want all of you to work as a team. Living things Non-living things

Look at the board. There are two colors of cartolina


paper. Using a scotch tape, you will paste the pictures of
living things in the blue cartolina paper and the pictures
of non-living things in the green cartolina paper.

Here are the printed pictures. You can form a circle to


exchange ideas. I want everyone to cooperate. I will give
you 8 minutes to do the activity.
