Report Notification

SAP maintenance notification plays an important role in SAP Plant Maintenance. It is used to notify maintenance
department about an abnormal or exceptional situation(s) in technical objects at the plant. It is also used for planned
maintenance activity and to notify planners.

SAP PM Notification Flow

The notification can also be used as a request for maintenance, before the order is created. Through different steps of
processing, the notification will get a different status. Each status represents a step in the notification life cycle and
different functions are related to the status.

In the diagram below you will find the notification processes from the basic maintenance flow and the status is related
to the process. On the right side, you can see each function available with the status.

To get the list of notifications, start the transaction IW28 and input the required selection criteria

Add all ‘Notification Status ‘ : Outstanding,Postponed,In process ,Completed.

5 Add Planning Plant

11 Click Settings ->Layouts ->Save as variant
12 Add to ‘Save layout’ : notification & Name Report notification ,click on enter
13 Export Data
14 Save the excel workbook with format : YearWeek (2022W12)
