Program Title : School Procurement Workshop for School Heads, Bids and Awards
Committee (BAC) Members and Physical Facilities Coordinator
Program Description: A capability building through a three- day training to improve school
efficiency by strengthening the knowledge and skills of the Head of the
Procuring Entity (HOPE) Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) BAC Secretariat
and Physical Facilities Coordinators on the basic principles of public
procurement , its functions and processes in accordance with RA 9184.
Prerequisite Programs: Participants must be familiar with RA 9184
Duration: 2 days

Target Personnel: School Heads, BAC Members and Physical Facilities Coordinators of the 39
public schools of the Division of city of Bogo
Budget Requirements: Php60, 000.00
Rationale:
Essential to the procurement of school supplies and services, liquidation of public funds and recording of
school properties and facilities.
At the end of the two (2) day-training workshop, participants are expected to:
1. Master the procedures of government procurement
2. Gain sufficient knowledge and skills in liquidation of public funds
3. Gain familiarity in accomplishing the procurement forms.
Each school representative shall submit a sample or draft of the Request for Quotation, Purchase Request
and Purchase Order forms, Liquidation and inventory report forms
All participants are expected to demonstrate the procedures of public bidding and the use of PhilGEPS
website in procuring goods and services.

Rationale:
Essential for hiring of Teacher I positions in elementary, junior and senior high schools of Division of City of
Bogo, Cebu
At the end of the ten (6) day-hiring activities, the Division Screening Committee are expected to:
1. Evaluate and rate the supporting documents submitted by the applicants.
2. Rate the interview and demonstration teaching performance of the applicants.
3. Submit results for the screening of applicants.
Submitted Registry of Qualified Applicants (RQA) with corresponding ratings obtained by the Teacher I
applicants during the screening process to the Office of the Schools Division Superintendent.
