Installation Preparation:

1. The installation of Accurenergy smart metering systems must be performed by

qualified personnel who have been formally trained. Who have experience with
high voltage and current devices.

2. The use of personal safety measures such as gloves, goggles, dielectric boots
and electrically insulated tools is essential for a safe installation.

3. Do not try to connect voltage that exceeds the specifications of the equipment
as it may cause a health hazard to the installer.

Installation

Before choosing the installation site make sure:

1.The site is dry, spacious, and ventilated.

2. If the installation is not indoors, an IP 68 outdoor cabinet must be used.

3. The meter must be as close as possible to the circuits to be measured, since the
current transformers have approximately 8 feet of wiring.

Power Supply and Voltage
Signals Connection

The AcuRev 2110 power supply has a range of 100-414 VAC, 50/60 Hz or 100-300
VDC.

The power supply is connected to terminal blocks 5, 6 and 7 and the voltage signals to
terminal blocks 1, 2, 3 and 4.

The pre-wired cabinet already comes with a fuse holder where the signals will be
connected.

Current Signal
Connection

The current signals are connected to the bottom of the meter, which have an easy to
connect Snap On connector. The sequences for the connection of the currents are:
Current 1 (47), current 2 (48), current 3 (49), and so on until the 18 circuits are
connected if it is the case to use them.

Current Transformers

The transformation ratio with which the AcuRev 2110 works is 333mV and CT Coil
Rogowski, so that it can read the measurements correctly. The measurement range is
5-2000A.

For the installation of the Current Transformers we must take into account several
recommendations both for safety and for their correct installation:

a. If we are going to install open-core current transformers, first we connect them to

the meter in their respective terminal blocks and then we install them.

b. All current transformers have an arrow indication which indicates the direction
that the current goes, so it is necessary to install them in this way. Always
check the power (kW) on the meter to verify that the transformer is properly
installed. The kW must always be positive (+).

Make sure that the transformers are well adjusted, well closed. This ensures a good
measurement.

and Channel Mapping

The AcuRev 2110 comes with an executable software for desktop or laptop PC which
is on page:

In order to configure the meter you need a professional quality plug-and-play USB
to RS485 serial converter.

We connect signal +485 to terminals 14 and signal -485 to 13.

Download the executable file and open it, configure the USB port as follows:
Name of the meter, the type of reading select “serial port”, communication port,
the data transmission baud “9600”, no parity “None 1” , data transmission
frequency “300ms” and press "OK"

Go to the configuration and select “Users and CT’s”:

1. Mapping channels and user: Assign names to each three-phase or Single

channels, for example, IP, AA, etc.

2. For Three-and Two phase wiring : Choose 3LN or 2LN on “Wiring of three Phase
User”, and Select Channel 301/201 for the first group of three, 302/ 202 for the
second group of three, etc

3. For Single-phase wiring: Choose 1LN on “Wiring of three Phase User”, and Select
Channel 101 for the first, 102 for the second, etc

4. For CT model: (3 Phase): Place the Amperage capacity of the transformer (50, 100,
200, 400) and assign the same amperage for each of the three phases until
completing the 18 circuits (Notice the Figure1 below shows six (6) “user names” and
18 circuits, this means that the 6 user names or circuits are grouped in 3s).

5. For CT model (Single Phase): Place the Amperage capacity of the transformer (50,
100, 200, 400) until completing the 18 circuits.

6. Finally, we select Update Device to load the information.
