Rfid Based Tollbridge: A Project Report On

The document is a project report on an RFID-based toll bridge system submitted for a bachelor's degree. It describes the main components used in the toll bridge system, including Holtek encoders, transmitters, receivers, and a microcontroller. It also details the main receiver circuit design and components. The report concludes that the project demonstrates an RFID-based toll bridge prototype that classifies vehicles by category (light, heavy, theft) and displays messages on an LCD screen before opening the toll bridge.

ABSTRACT

This paper describe a prototype that has been developed to demonstrate the concept of
“RFID BASED TOLL BRIDGE”. It begings with Introduction of the project and
background of “RFID BASED TOLL BRIDGE”. It then describe the need of the toll bridge
and technology used in the development of toll bridge. It also include the description of
components used in the project and their propertied where needed. It also describe the
soldering and desoldering methods and then flow diagram and working of the project.

In this project we have tried to give the idea of toll bridge. We are using microcontroller
89S51 as cpu. The motion is controlled by DC motor, for displaying message in the toll
bridge we are using Intelligent LCD display of two lines. The toll bridge designed for three
types of vehicle category, named as LIGHT VEHICLE, HEAVY VEHICLE, and THEFT
VEHICLE. There is LCD display for showing various messages in the toll bridge. Before
opening the toll bridge the buzzer blows.
