Create Personas

In the previous activity, you identified your early adopters. Here, you will try to bring these early adopters to
life by sketching their personas.

Personas are fictional characters that represent different mindsets, motivations, and behavior patterns of your
customer segments. Personas help you relate to your customers as people, rather than entities or numbers. Go
through Student Handout: Personas to learn more.

Instructions:
1. Regroup in your practice venture teams of 2 to 5.

2. Refer to the needs of your niche and early adopters that you have already identified.
3. Describe the person and their physical markers.
4. Describe their personality, goals, and desires.
5. Give them a unique and memorable name!
6. Draw your persona on a sheet of paper or any other format you choose. Take a look at few example
personas given on page 2 to help you create yours.
7. Be as creative as possible.
8. You have 30 minutes to complete this activity.
