Mrs. Julie Smith, Manager

Human Resources Department
Professional Business Associates
5454 Cleveland Avenue
Columbus, Ohio 43231-4021

Dear Mrs. Smith:

I wanted to write to you today to express my interest in the position of Wellness Coordinator in
the Human Resources Department at Professional Business Associates. I believe that my social
skills along with my work ethic will make me a perfect fit for this position in your organization.

In my daily life I have learned to push outside of my comfort zone in order to get to know others
while working toward a common goal. . I joined the Marching Band as a freshman in high
school. This meant that it was immediately necessary to learn to talk to many different types and
aged people. Once I began participating in other bands within my school the ability to talk and
connect to others became even more important. Now that I am nearing the end of my high
school career I believe I have honed my ability to talk, relate to, and work with many different
types of people. I think that the social skills that I have developed because of the music/band
program would make me a great fit for this position.

In addition to my social skills I would say that I have an excellent work ethic. I have been active
in many extracurricular activities, participated in multiple bands, and spent hours volunteering
while maintaining a high GPA throughout high school. I know how to work hard while working
on multiple projects, and delivering a quality product. This is what I will do for your company.

Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to hearing from you regarding an
interview. If you need any further information please do not hesitate to contact me

Sincerely,

Aiden Silvis
