To start with, let us imagine you are a student who wants to study abroad, and you have been
selected in some ivy league college. No one in your family has ever been to a foreign country
to study, so you are unaware of all available scholarship opportunities. You came to know
that there are scholarship opportunities available for Indian students going to study abroad.
So, to know the details about the scholarship you start finding data on the internet. But you
get confused a lot because every website showed different information, that too was either
un-updated or incomplete. Also, you are not even sure that you satisfy the eligibility criteria
for these scholarships and the deadline of applying for scholarship is coming near. Now you
are scared because the deadline is near, but you cannot apply based on un-updated or half
information provided to you by other sources as these forms are expensive also, there is a
chance of your application getting rejected because of errors in your application form.
Now, you wish you had a reliable source from where you can get all information related to
these scholarships, check which scholarships you are eligible for, what is the deadline for
those scholarships and if you satisfy all checklists then easily apply for those scholarships. To

help them with their preparation. The website will also have a feature of video guide on how
to apply for scholarships. So, the data collection will happen through the institutional tie-ups
that we will have and through web scraping. We will tie- up with some institutes to collect
data and make this platform famous amongst the students. We will also advertise for
institutes on our website who want to promote their institutes. As far as the data collection is
concerned the students will put their details in our portal and that will get stored in our
database. The data will be retrieved and automatically updated for the next time. If any new
information is required that needs to be filled by candidate. The application for that
scholarship will get automatically submitted. Students will be able to check the progress of
application on our portal.
So, from a consumer point of view the students will be able to benefit from our website as it
will be the reliable source of information for them and the easy apply option will save their
time and effort. Instead of searching for information on several different sources this will be
their one stop for all the information and help needed for applying for scholarships. As of
now the students are unaware of half of the scholarships and they miss out on deadlines or in
most cases need help with the application form. Through this portal they will be able to do it
all at one place, so the consumer will be benefited. From a business of view the revenue
generated through the institutional tie-ups and promotions will generate revenue from the
website and a rich database.
