gardening in an abandoned land/extra land the barangay can offer such as beside the
barangay hall or leftover land from previous projects in the area of Barangay Zone 4,
Purok Rizal that will help the people of the Barangay, also there's no money involve in
the process of acquiring the land that is needed. There for focusing the budget towards
seed, fertilizer, tools, pots and etc. On this project, We will make a memorandum of
agreement on this project. This project aims in succeeding to maintain an alternative
farming educational site, provide free educational workshops and technical assistance
to refugee, immigrant, migrant, and low-income gardeners, facilitate cross-cultural
discussion on farming/gardening and most important work towards securing long-term
and use for gardens. To address the goals of the project, we developed demonstration
garden beds, and then worked with many people to provide free education on the
options available to them as they grow their own food. Also they learned about
biointensive, methods, vermiculture, possibilities, and challenges for direct marketing in
their area, and they need free education on many alternative farming methods.

work in the garden they will have the benefit of having products/crops that the
community garden produces, it is a give and take process. This simply means that if
they are the ones who are planting, fertilizing, and maintaining the garden, then they get
to take crops that are being produced, this also mainly focuses on the poor community
of the barangay to ease their daily lives with sustainable food for their families. The
barangay captain would be the one who would approve the project if it is acceptable or
not.

The said project will be conducted to community garden of Barangay Zone 4. The brief
introduction and function of this project to the locals is, this aims to succeed deliver a
well a oriented family garden to the community of Barangay Zone 4. We called it as a
source of foods if nothing has really left to them. But before that, we encourage people
to join to make it better, and to beautify the garden itself and have a community service
schedule every week.
The first concerns of this project is the vacant lot located to the Barangay. If the
barangay chooses to place the community garden in the area of the barangay hall then
no paper work is required for it is virtually a part of the barangay, but if the barangay
decides to place the garden in a idle and abandoned lot that is privately owned then
paper work is required such as memorandum of agreement and affidavit of under
taking, the land owner will be asked if it is ok with him/her that a community garden will
be placed in the lot that is not being used or idle and abandoned that the land owner
owns.
The second step is we would conduct a fund raising to implement this project. To be
specific, we want the local government unit to provide a fund and invest to our
community garden. If the lot and the funds are already in the process, we would target
the unemployed locals who has knowledge on gardening. They would be the one
handling the garden and it is give and take process for the locals.
If it has enough of funds already to buy seeds, tools, fertilizer, and any extra fees, We
will start to arrange the garden and plant the seed. We would implement a schedule for
locals on the community service to manage the garden every day.
PROPOSED BUDGET
The overall amount that it will be cost to make this project is 6,400PHP
