MCS-SER-D Spec Sheets

The document describes an electronically operated step motor flow control valve intended for precise control of liquid refrigerant flow. It has a two phase bipolar wet motor that provides 2500 discrete steps of angular movement to linearly position the valve piston and control refrigerant flow. The valve can operate from -50°F to 155°F and interfaces with microprocessor controllers for accurate flow control and repeatable positioning.

Description
The SER-D are Electronically Operated Step motor flow control The motor is a two phase type driven in the bi-polar mode. Two

The SER-D valves modulate by the electronically controlled

rotation of a step motor. The step motor drives a gear train and
lead screw to position a piston. The piston is used to modulate
flow through a port.
