Part 1 - Terrain Slices 11

Tools/Materials Required:
- 1/8” Chipboard (9 sheets, 20” x 32”)
- Glue
- Laser Cutter

Instructions:
1) Using attached illustrator files, print out
the terrain slices using the laser printer. Con-
solidate the smaller pieces onto one sheet.

2) Glue the numbered pieces in order on


top of each other, using the engraved mark-
ings to find where each piece needs to be
lined up.
Part 2 - Water

Tools/Materials Required:
- 1/4” Plywood for Molding
(2x 20” by 1”, 2x 32” x 1”)
- Epoxy Modeling Water (0.94 gal)

(Note: If unable to use epoxy water, cut


1/4” square dowels down to length and
support walkway (step 3) and bases (step 4)
with them instead)

Instructions:
1) Screw formwork together around the
outside of the base

2) Pour epoxy water into the mold up to


piece number 8 (at the top of the form-
work), allow to dry

3) Remove formwork
Part 3 - Walkway

Tools/Materials Required:
- 1/8” Chipboard (1 sheet, 20” x 32”)
- Glue
- Laser Cutter

Instructions:
1) Using attached illustrator files, print out
the pathway using the laser printer.

2) Glue the pathway onto the model, lining


up the bottom edges. (Add dowels as need-
ed if not using epoxy water for support).

Part 4 - Small Houses

Tools/Materials Required: x8
- 1/16” Chipboard (1 sheet, 20” x 32”)
- Glue
- Laser Cutter
- 3D Printer

Instructions:
1) Using attached illustrator files, print out
the bases and curtain walls using the laser
printer. X8
2) 3-D Print the house outer shell

3) Attach curtain walls to outer shell

4) Attach outer shell to base

5) Add dowels as needed for support

6) Repeat for each house


Part 5 - Big Building

Tools/Materials Required:
- 1/16” Chipboard (1 sheet, 20” x 32”)
- Glue
- Laser Cutter

Instructions:
1) Using attached illustrator files, print out
the base, walls, and roof using the laser
printer.

3) Attach walls to base

4) Attach roof to walls
