Lesson Plan 1st GRADE A

Teaching aids: textbook,whiteboard worksheets, poster, coloured markers ,flashcards and audio tape.
Time: 45 minutes
Number of students: 26
Students’ interaction: whole class, individual work and pair work.

Specific aims:
 To introduce new vocabulary;
 To use grammatical patterns : HAVE GOT;
 To teach good linguistic habits ( of pronunciation, grammar);
 To develop listening and speaking skills in a creative way;

Objectives. By the end of the lesson Ss will be able to :


1. Speak about body parts
2. Use have got to show their body parts

Anticipated problems:
 Teacher must be aware of Ss’ emotional mood because this class hasn’t experienced
lessons with other teachers in the classroom (even if the teacher is online ) and they
can be unwilling to participate in an active way;
 The lesson plan can be too amitious or too poor for the Ss’ level and therefore if the
lesson goes well there will be an extra exercise or a game, depending on the elapsed
time.

action (e.g. "ears - hands up!"). All T-Ss

continues with other words and

down, wiggle, touch your toes, etc.).
-Teacher asks Ss to listen to the first
song and act the dance; ( Head ,

-Teacher unjumbles the flashcards
and asks Ss to put them in order from
head to toes;
-Teacher divides the class into 2
teams . Teacher asks the first
Student from each team to come and
choose a flashcard . Then they will
whisper the word to the next student
from their team. This game will be
played till flascards will be all used.
-Teacher shows a little monster
(which has different body ) .
Teacher tries to engage Ss into a
conversation as :
- Teacher: What's this?
(pointing at head)
Students: Head!
Teacher: Yes, a big head!
Everyone, touch your head
(touching head).
Students: (Touching heads)

Teacher: What color is his

Students: Purple!

5. Feedback and 10’ -Teacher gives each Student T-Ss Matching

etc...

exercise 2 and 3 page 44- 45
from their workbook.
