Exam Requirements
to transfer to UNLV, and it is required for me to get my Teacher Licensure to teach in the state
of Nevada. My scores were as follows Math 89%, Reading 93%, Writing 63%.
Exam Preparation
When preparing for my Praxis Core exam, I looked at the resources available to
me to learn more about it. I used a lot of Praxis websites, and I looked over practice questions; I
won’t lie, I didn’t really look into the Writing part of the exam. I did a couple of questions and
skimmed through when looking over that section, which is why I think I did so poorly in that
section. The resources my instructor provided were helpful but very informational; they were
able to answer the questions I had about the test and even informed me about things I didn’t
know. I also looked up videos of people talking about the Praxis Core Exam and what helped

I scored an 89% for the math portion, meaning that I am likely to pass the
math section: for the Reading section, I scored a 93%, which was my best score, meaning I am
very likely to pass the official Praxis Core exams reading section. Finally, for the Writing part, I
