wall sheathing, exterior house wrap, and fiber cement lap or vinyl lap siding.
Both of these wall designs are considered to be one standard framed wall –
with each design layering the elements mentioned appropriately.
Advantages-
It has several advantages over a conventional stick-frame wall: it provides
more room for insulation, reduces thermal bridging through the studs, and
avoids moisture problems that can arise from using vapor-impermeable
materials like foam board.
Excellent air/vapor barrier support and noise reduction.
Double-wall construction is considered to be “above grade”, or in other
words, a premium wall design.
Many homeowners and builders choose the double-wall design because it
offers more structural integrity and for its exceptional energy performance.
Homes with this feature are known to use less electricity and heat.
Disadvantages-
2
beam and projecting vertically above the upper bond beam to provide a
support surface for the building floor members.

Sandwich panels-
A sandwich panel is a product used to clad the walls and roofs of buildings.
Each panel comprises a core of thermoinsulating material, skinned on both
sides with sheet metal. Sandwich panels are not structural materials but
curtain materials. The structural forces are carried by the steel framework or
other carrier frame to which the sandwich panels are attached.
Advantages-
Excellent fire performance
Include a high degree of thermal insulation, sound insulation, high speed
erection of buildings, light weight, resistance to biological effects, no
additional finishing, the use of the premises of food Industry.
Disadvantages-
One of the main disadvantages of the application of sandwich panels in parts
involving large in-plane stresses is the relative low strength of the joints of
the individual welded I-core panels. At these joints it is only possible with
relative high fabrication costs and time consuming techniques to connect the
cores of the sandwich panels.
The low resistance of the shell plates in case of impact loads and local
(point) loads, the low shear strength of the core (metal or polymer) of the
sandwich panel and the panel joints as well as the low freedom in structural
design.
