Dear Sir,
Last year, there was an underground pipe installation on the road. During
that time, due to the roadwork, many holes were developed on the road.
However, after the work, the holes were not covered and now they are lying
on the roads uncovered. This is very dangerous for the kids on the roads as
well as elders. Many senior citizens go for morning walks and due to the fog;
they are unable to see clearly. They can fall anytime into the hole. Even the
stray animals are facing the same danger. Last week, a puppy nearly fell into
the hole but a person was there to rescue at the time. It is very difficult for the
residents of the locality to live under a risk like this.
I hope the issue will be highlighted in your esteemed daily to raise concern to
the authority about the everyday issue and bring upon a solution.
Yours truly,
X.Y.Z.

The day started with the players' introduction. We won the toss and decided
to let the guest team bat first. We got the wickets of the opening batsmen Ali
& Kamran by the very first over. The team of Science College lost their hope
for the match by losing these two crucial wickets of their best opening
partnership. Much too all their surprise, the new player Jawad Ahmad on the
team scored 100 runs for 60 balls next. The supporters of Science College
went crazy each time he swung his bat. They shouted and encouraged him to
play better. However, this joy was not long-lived. Our team’s bowler Shahzad
took Jawad’s wicket at 113.

Introduction: This report is about a traffic jam in city town. This report is
based on facts and figures.
Text / Report: Even a kid these days knows about the traffic congestion on
road. There is not even a single city on earth today that is undisturbed. With
the transformation of lifestyle people are now occupied 24x7.
Nobody wants to reach late to school, to miss college class, to get late on their
way to the office, to get their salary deducted, to cut it short people are
involved in a life race. Who touches the door first wins, who reaches last, well,
gets their salary deducted.
Street conditions and violations of traffic rules are other causes of the
country's traffic jams. People, especially students and service carriers, feel
helpless and frustrated when they get stuck in a traffic jam. Many people fail
to get to their desks on time.
Conclusion: The worst victims are patients who have been transported in
ambulances to hospitals and clinics. Rickshaw drivers also struggle a lot
because they lose their valuable time moving very slowly towards their
destination.
Suggestions: To avoid this traffic there are a number of ways. But no one’s
interested in finding them out. To lessen the burden on your head I’m jotting
down the easiest one’s.
Carpooling. All you got to do is drop your kids off to school or your
spouse to work instead of letting them drive themselves in a separate
vehicle.
Using public transport. You can shed a little extra and travel in an AC
bus or the metro with a little friendlier crowd I hope. Wish you luck on
that.

shopping mall was a new and exciting experience for me. Visiting shopping
mall is very enjoyable for me. As it provides change from daily repetitive

Mixed-use malls.
Measure mall traffic.
Q: 3 Write a letter Editor of a Newspaper about rehabilitation of flood
victims?
A: 3
Examination Hall,
City A.B.C.
The Editor,
Lahore.
Dear Sir,
No doubt people are already familiar with the terrible tragedy that has
overtaken KPK, but the account of an eye witness will bring home to the
people with all the greater effect the terrible distress which these disastrous
floods have caused: In some places whole villages have been swept away and
the crops over a large area destroyed. Thousands of villagers have been
rendered destitute, most of them have nothing but the clothes in which they
managed to escape somehow. They are living in temporary shelters expose to
all the inclemency of the weather, without proper food and clothes.
The government is no doubt doing all it can to relieve the immediate distress,
but unless public funds are raised and people make liberal contributions it is
not possible to rehabilitate the flood-affected victims. When the floods
subside, villages will have to be rebuilt and the villagers will have to be
supplied with seed, fodder, cattle and farm implements before they can start
work again.
I, therefore, strongly appeal to the people to help the government in the
humanitarian task of relieving the distress of the poor sufferers by
contributing generously to the KPK Flood Relief Fund and thus earn the
gratitude of their distressed fellow brethren.
Yours truly,
X.Y.Z.

Dear Sir,
I beg to draw your kind attention towards the most deteriorating law
and order situation in this area. This colony has been turned into a hell by a
group of naughty persons.
They roam here and there in the street and pass filthy remarks on the passers-
by. Even the girls and the ladies find it impossible to go alone in this area.
They have the fair of chain snatching and kidnapping also. During the days,
the bad characters gamble in the park and take wine. They lose their senses
and look like hungry foxes.
Kindly look into the matter personally and control the situation to avoids any
miss-happening.

Past Paper 2019

WAPDA Officer,
WAPDA Town.

All the resources that are available to Pakistan are way too out of reach as
they are simply too expensive or already acquired by some other country
which has planned their electricity consumption. Pakistan has failed to find
sufficient amount of energy resources as it had delayed in making better
decisions and planning the electricity consumption of the country.
Conclusion: Power theft is also a very big problem in Pakistan as the most
popular Kunda system is being used to steal electricity. If the government
takes certain steps to completely remove the transmission of electricity
through wrong methods it would be able to save at least 25% of its electric
power.
To:
Population Welfare Department,
Islamabad.
Text / Report: Pakistan is the sixth by virtue of its population size. This
colossal population and galloping population growth rate consumes most of
financial and natural resources and leaves little for development. The
population growth is a challenge posed to Pakistan economy as it increases
expenditures on health, education infrastructure and basic provisions of life.
It also depletes natural resources, food, water etc. Development is the center
of all economic activities. However, development alone is futile when it does
not bring positive change in the lives of masses. Different studies have shown
that population growth negatively affects development process. In the
backdrop of Pakistan, this situation has been worsened as the problem was
never given due attention and gravity of the problem with its multi-
dimensional facets has become very complicated. Despite limited possible
government efforts, the fertility rate has not decreased to the stabilized
population growth rate at desirable level.
Conclusion: The huge population size deprived of health care, education and
employment facilities is a titanic load over the poorly managed economy
growing at snail pace. The empirical analysis done in this thesis supports the
hypothesis, that population growth is negatively related to factors involved in
sustainable economic development.
