Dear Pritha,

We take pleasure in confirming our offer of employment to you under the following terms and conditions:

1- Employer: Igloo ME DMCC


2- Position: Social Media Executive
3- Base Salary: AED 4,000 per month to be paid monthly
4- Allowances: AED 2,500 per month to be paid monthly
5- Bonus: AED 1,500 per quarter to be paid quarterly based on performance
6- Medical Insurance: You will be entitled to enrol in the company medical insurance scheme.
7- Starting Date: May 13, 2018
8- Contract Period: This agreement is for unlimited duration, commencing from the start date of
employment.
9- Salary review: Your salary will be reviewed after 6 months of employment.
10- Working Hours: The normal working hours per week is from 9am-6pm Sunday to Thursday
including an hour lunch break. The hours as well as the weekends are variable as deemed
necessary by management.
11- Probationary Period: Your first 6 months of employment are considered a probationary period,
during which time the employer may terminate your employment without notice and end of
service benefits.
12- Notice Period: Should you wish to resign during probationary period, a notice of 1 month must be
given in writing. After completion of probationary period, the employee should give 2 month-
notice of termination of employment, except in cases of gross misconduct, where the notice
period may be waived.
13- Place of Work: JLT, Fortune Executive, office 1204, Dubai
14- Confidentiality/Conflict of Interests: Employees must avoid trade or work that is in the conflict
with the interests of the employer. You may not disclose information of a confidential nature to
unauthorized persons within or outside the company, during and after your employment with the
company.

15- Home leave travel: Following the successful completion of each 12 months of service, you will be
provided with an economy return ticket from Dubai to India.
16- Vacation Days: You will be eligible for 30 calendar days per year.
17- Sick Leave: You will be eligible for paid sick leave upon completion of your probation period. The
sick leave will be up to 3 days per year, during which time you will be entitled to receive full pay.
Unused sick leave cannot be carried forward nor cashed.
18- End of year service benefit: You will be entitled to an end of services benefit, which will be
payable at a rate equivalent to that found in the UAE labour law. Such benefit is forfeited if the
employee is dismissed for gross misconduct, leaves without notice, or breaches other conditions
of the law appertaining to this provision.
19- Reimbursement of visa costs: Should you resign within the first 36 months of your employment,
you will be required to reimburse the employer the cost of the employment visa and other visa
related cost on a pro-rata basis.
20- Others:
a. You will not receive any commission, kickbacks, or reward in either money or other kind
from any source.
b. You will not professionally compete or hold a second job while employed at Igloo.
c. This offer is subject to satisfactory employment references and the passing of medical
test and the issuance of a residency permit by the concerned UAE authority.
21- This contract is subject to the applicable laws of UAE.
22- Management reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the terms and conditions set out
within this contract of employment and / or in any other document. Minor changes of detail may
be made from time to time and will be effected by a general notice to employees.
