Rules of Court Civil Procedure Notes

An appeal from a municipal trial court to a regional trial court must be made within 15 days of receiving notice of judgment by filing a notice of appeal. If a record is required, the appeal must be filed within 30 days of receiving notice along with the filing of the appeal and record. The appellant must file the notice of appeal, pay all required fees, and submit proof of payment to the appellate court along with the original record or record on appeal within the period allowed for the appeal.
