Overview
The Nexus 21 TV Lift URC driver allows for IP or IR control over the motorised TV Lift.

The module also provides control and feedback for moving the mount in or out and sending the mount to its
home or one of 3 memory locations.

The IR codes are included at the end of this document for inclusion in your own drivers , so the rest of this
document details the IP module only.

Page 3
Features
• Ultra-flexible wall box allows for in-wall and on-wall mounting configurations
• Near-gapless in-wall mounting, with the TV resting just 3/4" off the wall
• A revolutionary instantaneous drive release feature disengages the motors during manual operation,
preventing damage to the mount if the user pushes or pulls it into position
• Simple, three-step installation
• Proprietary COBRA Concealed Cable-Management System
• Dedicated component mounting locations, outlet punch-outs and more
• Smooth, quiet motion
• Programmable with up to 3 presets

System Parameters
The Nexus21 module doesn’t require any parameters but there are some optional ones that have been
detailed below.

All system parameters are entered in the following format

KEY=VALUE

The following table details the system parameters that work with this module.

KEY VALUE

DEBUG Puts the module into its debug mode

Debug mode and logging

TO enable logs, you need to add the DEBUG parameter and set it to ON. This will write log files to the
processor that can be retrieved via FTP. See the Logging section at the end of this document for details.

DEBUG=ON

Events
The TV Lift module uses events for movement and to indicate when the device has reached one of it
memory locations. The various events are described below. All the events are accessible from Step 12, Edit
Automation Macros.

Memory Location Reached

The TV Lift device can have a series of memory locations configured with the remote control. Using these
presets the TV can be viewed from multiple areas. These events allow you to trigger automation when the
TV reaches the specified location. The event will trigger when the TV is moved via URC or the supplied
remote control.

Page 9
Vertical Movement
The Vertical Movement event will trigger when the lift starts moving in the vertical plane. This event
supports the lift moving Up, Down, the various memory presets, when it stops and an event indicating when
the lift is moving.

Horizontal Movement
The Horizontal Movement event will trigger when the lift starts moving in the horizontal plane. This event
supports the lift moving Left, Right, the various memory presets, when it stops and an event indicating when
the lift is moving.

Errors
The Errors event will trigger any errors occur with the lift controls. There are a variety of different events that
could be used for monitoring and maintenance.
