appeareth in the similitude of a horse, and when he is constrained by magical
incantations, assumeth a human shape. He hath under him 250 legions of inferior
spirits. His power, according to the ancients, is great, and he can answer truly unto
all demands, both past, present, and to come. - The Astrologer of the 19th Century
Oriens is one of the four demon kings associated with the cardinal directions,
along with Egyn (north), Amaymon (south), and Paimon (west). Oriens is associated
with the direction east.
The first king raigneth in the east and is called Oriens, and he cometh in the

81. AMAYMON. Amaymon, king of the South. (Saturn) The Spirit Amaymon is great,
high, and mighty, and terrible in appearance. He usually assumes the form of an
old man, with a long beard, his ears being like those of a horse, with a royal diadem
on his head. His first appearance is unusually tremendous; forked lightning and
deep mouthed thunders, shaking the earth apparently to the center, announce his
awful presence. Then suddenly the earth will appear to vomit forth gushes of
flame, and sulfurous odors taint the charmed atmosphere. Anon are heard all sorts
of musical instruments, then an uncouth clatter of creaking wheels and horrid
crashes will every instant astound the invocator, but on a sudden will all be again
calm, and clothed in the whole pomp of his spiritual grandeur, attended by
countless legions of invincible spirits. Amaymon will be seen riding furiously upon a
fierce and roaring lion. He will approach to the utmost limits of the space assigned
him, and it will well become the Theurgist to preserve his wonted calmness: for if
he powerfully constrain, and urgently invoke, this furious spirit, he may be brought
to the most submissive obedience, He has power to give knowledge, dignity, and
great promotion. - The Astrologer of the 19th Century
Amaymon is one of the four demon kings associated with the cardinal directions,
along with Egyn (north), Oriens (east), and Paimon (west). Amaymon is generally
associated with the direction south, although in Pseudomonarchia Daemonum he
is listed as the king of the east.

are obedient, his power is to give true answer of all things, & he giveth familiarity,
dignity, & riches, & by Gods permission he hath power to consecrate books etc, he
appeareth in favor of an old man having a long beard, & long hair hanging over his
eyes, crowned with a bright crown, & rideth upon a rampaging lyon, & in his right
hand he beareth a dart, before him commeth dancers & all manner of minstrels,

appeareth in the form of a man riding upon a dragon, with a regal crown: on each
side of him are hissing serpents. He cometh with a fearful and tremendous noise,
with many inferiors around him; and under him are countless legions of mighty
spirits. When constrained by powerful incantations, this spirit assumes the form of
a child, and the raising of this spirit is less dangerous than either of the preceeding,
and has proved of great use to the magician, when rightly invoked. He discovers
treasures of the earth and is very tractable. - The Astrologer of the 19th Century
Egyn is one of the four demon kings associated with the cardinal directions, along
with Amaymon (south), Oriens (east), and Paimon (west). Egyn is generally
associated with the direction north.

EVOCATION
In this lesson we will explain the process of spirit evocation. The circle and triangle
used to conjure spirits was developed from the one given in the Lesser Key of
Solomon, but a similar design can be found in the book “The discovery of
Witchcraft” by Reginald Scott, and there are several different forms of the magic
circle given in old grimoires where the place for the spirit is clearly marked outside
the circle, such as the Grimoire of Honorius for example.
There are many ways to conjure the spirits. The use of the circle and triangle
method as taught by the order is only one way to do so. The student will use other
ways to call demons or spirits when they experiment with spells. However, the
circle and triangle method IS an extremely powerful method of working with any
known spirit, and so here I would like to explain some of its symbolism and use
within the order.
87 | P a g e
Technically speaking, the enterprising student could use any variation on the
circle and triangle that they wish. The system is basically composed of two parts, a
circle for the magician to stand in, and a clearly marked area for the spirit to arrive
in. This is because the circle is, truly, an image of your own sphere, your body of
light, your personal universe, the totality of your mind and energy field.
The student is to acquire a small scrap of carpet at least 5 feet by 7 feet for use in
the yoga and body movements. This will also serve as a canvas to draw paint or
otherwise create a magic circle on the underside of the “yoga carpet.” You will
probably want to get a measuring tape, and several bowls or plates to trace
around while making your circle, and there are many ways to draw the design on
and get everything to look correctly placed.
I don’t really need to teach you that process, as you will discover it if you just
jump in and try to make the magic circle. Its hard work, but it is also great fun to
draw. Do your very best to get the lines strait and make it look good. Try to feel the
flow of energy going out from your energy field as well as through your eyes, and
your hand that you draw the design with, this will add to its power and charge it
like a talisman. Rituals performed within it will also give it an energetic charge, and
the spirits will do their part as well to give it energy, so make it presentable for
their arrival.
Every time you step into your magic circle to call a spirit you will see the symbols,
and thus be reminded of the tools, weapons, and formulas which give you power
and make you a witch. Most everyone will personalize their magic circle in some
way. Some students have written the formulas in various languages. Others have
placed additional names of demons around the magic triangle. I have added the
Toltec formula of the 7 principals of stalking, the three things stalking is used for,
(at the edges of the triangle, love, destruction, and training) and the “four moods”
into the design of my personal circle as well.
88 | P a g e
In practice you will find that the circle operates in ways which are sometimes
hard to put into words. Time seems to slow down or speed up. The area inside the
magic circle becomes unusually charged, unlike the area of the room outside it.
This can be felt both stepping into the magic circle from the space outside it, as
well as while standing within it. Many different effects will then arise upon regular
use of a magic circle. These are as varied as kundalini experiences. You may feel
that there is a definite sensation of separation from the outside world, almost as if
standing inside a glass bubble and looking out. You may see the circle and triangle
begin to glow, or sometimes even dance or wave around as if alive.
You will have put your energy unto it in one way just from having taken the time
and focus to create it. The symbols within it tend to trap or contain the energy
they represent, and the raw energy of the one who created the magic circle. A
magic circle is more than a physical object, its astral form takes on a radiance, and
it is alive. It becomes like a talisman in that it is a physical object that contains non
ordinary astral forces. Once it is properly created, you should notice a change in
the atmosphere of a room, just from unrolling the circle to look at it.
You can create the circle and triangle in many ways, and if you cannot keep such
an object around, because the people you are living with would fear it, you can
draw a temporary circle and triangle on the ground and erase it if you need to.
Some people also use a thick rope placed on the ground as a circle and mark the
triangle by placing strips of tape on the ground, this can easily be removed and
hidden when necessary. The use of the circle and triangle is something that you
will want to keep hidden very well. This is one of the advantages of having the
circle on the back of a carpet. After ritual, you can simply turn the rug over, thus
hiding the circle in plain sight, or roll it up and place it in a corner or under a bed.
Some have even drawn circles on large sheets, and this might do in a pinch, but a
heavy rug or carpet tends to lay flay when you walk on it better than other
materials.
89 | P a g e
After you have established a strong foundation in kundalini raising techniques,
and then astral projection, it is time to approach the work of spirit evocation
seriously. In practice, your tools are simple. You can unroll the circle in moments,
pull out a magic wand of some kind, get a small vessel or offering bowl and some
incense out, or some other gift to the spirit, and place that in the triangle. Then
open your “book of conjurations” and start conjuring. The list of spirits covers a
vast array of spirits, demons, devils, and old gods. Simply pick a spirit, step into the
magic circle, face the triangle, and begin to read the words of conjuring from the
book. You can hold the book in one hand, or a print off with just the words of
evocation, and your wand in the other hand, and just start to conjure.
You will discover the rest with practice. There is no way to know what will happen
until you jump in, open the book to a spirit, and conjure it. The spirit may appear in
all its glory, or you may feel nothing at all your first time. One thing is certain, you
can do it, and you will get much better with practice.
If you get no results with one spirit, move on to the next spirit. You will find that
some spirits are much more willing to help you than others. Some spirits are just
more attracted to your personality, or they feel that you have the qualities they
are looking for to teach you this or that thing that they want to teach to the world
or see manifested in the world. Spirits are not all knowing, and they may not
always have your best interest in mind. Remember that there are many kinds of
people in the world, just as there are many kinds of spirits in the world. Not every
person is your friend, not every person is your enemy. So, it is for spirits as well. Be
cautious in accepting their instructions or help when offered, be brave, be careful,
be smart, and you will do fine. Never make any “eternal pacts” or permanent deals
because you do not know where you will be in one year, or five years. Approach
the spirits as equals, and as friends, partners, and allies, not as their servant or
slave, or their master.
90 | P a g e
Generally, spirits are seen “in the air” or in a medium of some kind such as a bowl
of water or wine or ink, or in a mirror. In this system we teach the method of
simply seeing them “in the air” in the area above the triangle, though they may
often be expanded out of it or overflowing its boundaries. If you wish to construct
a special mirror that can be placed within the triangle that you may gaze into to
see the spirits when conjuring that is also acceptable. The set of conjurations is
short enough that you will be able to memorize them with practice and not need
to hold or read from a book during ritual. Eventually you will simply be able to raise
your wand and go through the whole process of conjuring the spirit from memory.
You will find that it is much easier to get effects this way.
If you can’t see the spirits, there is some error in your process. Usually you have
not generated enough personal energy from the dietary considerations, yoga or
body movement exercises, etc. If you are a man you will find that your ability to
see spirits is greatly increased the longer you have gone without expelling semen
from your body. You may also need to fast for 1-3 days to get your first big
manifestation of a spirit. This will be difficult, but the rewards are incredibly
fulfilling when you succeed.
Beyond this, little can be explained that will not be found in practice. Draw your
magic circle, gather your wand, your offering to the spirit, your book of
conjurations, and simply give it a try. Go through the steps carefully and calmly.
This is the evocation of an enormously powerful being, so don’t play around. Make
sure to complete each step of the ritual and give the license for the spirit to depart
before leaving the circle. Treat the method with respect. Remember that you there
should be a certain amount of force and urgency to your tone, but it should always
be with great respect and honor for the spirit you are calling.
The “God” mentioned in the ritual as the “Bornless one” is not the God of the
Bible, but rather a force far above all gods and all duality. Therefore, it is bornless,
and above male and female, light, and darkness, etc. It is not any one god, but
rather the power behind all gods, and nature. We do not use any methods of
commanding the spirits by the Christian god, or his angels or saints. The AG order
is Pagan, or if you wish, Satanic or Demonolater. Once you have grown familiar
with any spirit, if you want to invite it to enter the circle with you, you may do so.
91 | P a g e
The circle can protect you from spirits if you wish for it to do so, simply
concentrate on the circle itself, and will all other spirits out of it, and make it so
with your energy field, after all, it is YOU. The magic circle is a symbol of, and a
physical and energetic barrier of your own “double” your energy body, your aura,
and you have the right to control your own being, and no one else has that right.
If you ever get in a situation where you want a spirit to go away, or are
threatened by it, Invoke the Bornless one, and fill yourself and the circle with white
light that is visualized as the energy of lightning bolts. (this is the bornless energy
above all manifestation and not a moral black or white, as we are black magicians)
command the spirit to leave your personal energy field and return to where it
came from and then strongly give the license to depart. After a time, you will make
friends and allies with the various spirits, and you can also call on them for help if
you need to drive away a hostile spirit. Be careful and respectful and you will do
well in your evocation, especially if all the other steps of the book have been taken
up to this point.
The circle is a symbol of your personal energy field. The Toltecs call this the
TONAL and describe it as “everything that you know and are aware of.” The
triangle, or otherwise marked place for the spirit to arrive is what the Toltecs call
the NAGUAL, meaning in this case, “everything that you don’t know, and are not
aware of.” So therefore, when you are standing in the circle, and looking out into
the triangle, you are a Tonal, looking into the nagual. This can also be called the
microcosm and macrocosm. The microcosm is the “little world” of your own aura.
The Macrocosm is the greater world outside of your aura. You are a single point of
consciousness, peering into the greater field of energy outside of you, and
conjuring a spirit from that field. This also has advanced parallels in the final steps
of the formula of Ashtanga yoga, in that the circle is the meditator, or yogi, and the
triangle is the object contemplated.

This symbolism can also be compared to the ideas of Lesser black magic, in that
the circle is the stage magician, or black magic operator, and the triangle is the
subject that one is performing magic on or before. This also parallels the Toltec
stalker as the circle itself, and the triangle as the animal or situation being stalked.
The magic wand itself is like a radio antenna, and is capable of both receiving and
transmitting vibration from the universe in the same manner, because when held
aloft, it extends outside the normal boundary of the human aura, which is shaped
like an egg or sphere. These and many other profound mysteries will be
understood only with deep practice of the system.
