Introduction

Science and technology is a topic that encompasses science, technology, and the
interactions between the two. Science is a systematic enterprise that builds and organizes
knowledge in the form of explanations and predictions about nature and the universe.
Technology is the collection of techniques, methods or processes used in the production of
goods or services or in the accomplishment of objectives, such as scientific investigation, or
any other consumer demands. Science may drive technological development, by generating
demand for new instruments to address a scientific question, or by illustrating technical
possibilities previously unconsidered. In turn, technology may drive scientific investigation,
by creating demand for technological improvements that can only be produced through
research, and by raising questions about the underlying principles that a new technology
relies on.
Scope and objective

The format of information that had been collected for printed are books, journals, manuscript
while for the non-printed, this report use e-book, internet and online database. There are the
number for the printed and non-printed materials.

The objective of this compiling are :

1) To compile and gathered the resources of information about science and technology
using the sources such as books, almanac, blog, online database and so on.
2) To teach us how to list a reference list for a research.
3) To promote the use of books and other materials by the publications of subject
bibliographies
Arrangement

For this report, all materials are arranged alphabetically by using American Psychologist
Association’s style (APA) for its citation. This citation’s style was chosen because it look
simple and it is easier for user to read it. Other than that, this style is also easier to
remember that the other type of citation, which is Modern Language Association’s (MLA).
Furthermore, this choice of citation style allow reporting looks more complete and tidier.

Language of Material

For this report, only English and Malay materials in included.

Level of Bibliography

The guide intended for a wide-ranging level of readership, from complete beginners to
professional seeking information at an introductory level outside their own specialty.
However, it may differ and significance its own point of view.

Limitation or Problem

The problem that my partner and I faced are we cannot find as much sources that we want
from the Perpustakaan Tun Abdul Razak (PTAR) in UiTM Puncak Perdana which is the
library under our UITM so we need to find from other online website library such as Hollis
Harvard Library, Perpustakaan Tun Seri Lanang which is UKM’s Library and so on.
