Installation instruction for the network version of Matlab R2022a at the University

1. Create a new empty folder for the DVD image (e.g. C:\temp)

2. Download the ISO Image for your operating system and save the image to
the folder created in step 1.

Windows (64-bit): R2022a_Windows.iso


Linux (64-bit): R2022a_Linux.iso
Mac OS X (Intel 64-bit): matlab_R2022a_maci64.dmg

3. Mount the ISO images using the standard process for your platform

The next step differs slightly according to your operating system.


4. Launch the installer:
Open the location for the burned DVD or mounted image.
- Windows: Double-click setup.exe
- Mac: Double-click the InstallForMacOSX
- Linux: Run the command: $path_to_DVD/install &
($path_to_DVD has to be substituted by the corresponding path for the
burned DVD or ISO image)

The next steps are identical for the different operating systems.

5. In 'Advanced Options' select menu item 'I have a File Installation Key'.
Note: For a successful installation it is NOT necessary to register a personal
account with MathWorks.

6. License Agreement: yes

7. In the 'LICENSING' tab enter the following file installation key (one line)

22476-26583-63322-15382-47852-56434-44174-42861-45804-35702-01656-32170-43106-
07185-62591-16344-42105-64467-33721-03759-54942-13856-22366-00303-52741

and then select the full path to your license.dat file.

8. In the 'DESTINATION' tab enter the installation folder (e.g. C:\Programme\


Matlab\R2022a)

9. In the 'PRODUCTS' tab select products to install (keep defaults)

10. In the 'OPTIONS' tab UNCHECK 'Improve MATLAB by sending user experience
information to MathWorks'
Note: For privacy reasons this is highly recommended unless you want MathWorks
to
collect your personal usage patterns.

11. In the 'CONFIRMATION' tab review and confirm your installation settings ->
Click 'Begin Install'

12. After end of installation there may appear a message that further configuration
steps
might be necessary.
13. Installation completed.
