A. Preliminary Activity
1. Daily Activities

2. Drill
Singing of the song, “Kon Kita Mag-kaurusa” to the tune of “The More We Get
Together”

3. Review
Review of the letters learned in the previous days.
Showing of flashcards. Let the pupils identify what are in the pictures and let them
say the initial sound.

An Pana ni Tatay Pedro

San una nga panahon san mga Pilipino, May ada bata nga an ngaran si Pablo. Naistar an
pamilya ni Pablo sa yungib. May ada sira gamit nga pana sa ira balay nga hinimo tikang sa
puthaw. Importante gud an pana san kada panimalay san una nga panahon.

Usa ka adlaw, an tatay ni Pablo nga si Pedro, nagdara san iya pana para manakop ngan
mamiling ilahas nga hayop. Umupod si Pablo sa panakop mga hayop para may-ada sira
kaunon.

Sa ira paglakaton, tigda nagyakan si Pablo “Tatay ! tatay ! Kita-a may-ada didto ilahas nga
baboy.” Gin-gamit dayon san iya tatay an iya pana ngan gin-igo ine. Natumba an ilahas na
baboy ngan ginhigtan san pisi para ira madara sa balay. Pag-abot nira sa balay, gin-ihaw
dayon ngan ginluto san iya mama nga si Pamela. Nabusog sira ngatanan ngan nalipay
kahuman pangaon.

C. Presentation
 
1. Key Picture, Key Symbol and Key Word
a. Present the picture of an arrow. Teacher asks, What is the name of the objects in the
picture.

b. Teacher points to the key words (pana)  and say, “this is the name of the picture. Teacher
and pupils say the words  “pana” 2-3 more  times together.
c. Teacher points to the key symbol/P/and say” This is the beginning    letter of word /pana/”

d. Say: Nano paman an mga butang o ngaran san tawo an adto sa aton istorya nga
nagtitikang sa tunog nga Pp?

2. Discussion
Introducing Letter Pp:

a. Here are some pictures. Can you name them? Teacher shows the pictures that begins with
letter Pp, one at a time.               
b. Teacher says the picture name one at a time by producing the initial sound of each. Say the
word three times.

This is a picture of a/ppp/…pise
This is a picture of a/ppp/. . .paypay
This is a one /ppp/…piso
 
c. Ask: What sound do you hear at the beginning of each picture? Teacher produces the letter
sound again and again as pupils follow.
d. Present flashcards with letter Pp as a symbol of the sound ,/p/. The letter is made of
cartolina. Say,” Class this is the letter sound like”  /ppp/” (Produce the sound 3x)
3. Expansion (Group Activity)
(Give Standard and Imposed Rubrics before the Game)
Group 1 -- Have a box with pictures inside it. Inside the box are random pictures. Each Group
will have representatives. Each representative will pick and paste pictures from the box that starts
with Initial Sound Pp.

Group 2 – will draw any picture or object that starts with sound Pp and color it
Group 3 – will make a collage on the symbol Pp
4. Generalization
The teacher will show a picture symbol of letter Pp and ask the pupils what is the letter sound
being produced. Let the pupils write on the board the letter Pp. Call another student and let him/her
say again the sound of letter Pp.

5. Application
Pinduta an kon an ladawan nag titikang sa tunog nga Pp ngan diri

pito holen puno halas sinturon pinya

IV. Assessment
Isurat an nawawara nga tunog.

V. Assignment
