1. Technology

PLUM ERP is built on open source technology PHP, MySQL, Apache and works on both of the Linux
and Windows environment. The application does not require any commercial software licenses to
operate.

2. Web Based

The application is totally web based and is accessible anytime anywhere and any platform that has
internet access. It requires no client end installation.

3. Framework Based

The entire ERP is developed based on a framework. Development (framework developed by PLUM)
thus facilitates easier customization etc.

4. All In-House Modules:

All the modules, add-ons, features are developed by Plumsoft only thus not depending on any other
organization and there is no liability to the customer to commit to any 3rd party utilities.

5. Short Implementation Time:

PlumWare framework on which the application is built enables configuration based changes, which
makes implementation and customization of the software fasters

6. Security:

PLUM ERP comes with various security features including standard authentication, double layer
authentication, mobile and browser linked authentication, CAPTCHA, SSL, IP Banning etc.

7. No additional Hardware (If required on SaaS Model):

The application is also available as a SAAS model and does not need any additional hardware for
servers, software etc. It works simply on any platform – Windows, Linux or Macs.

8. Browser Compatibility

Designing and developing a compatible product to all the browsers is a herculean task and there is lot
of cross browser compatible issues. PLUM ERP is compatible on all renowned browsers like Chrome,
IE, Safari, Opera and Firefox.

9. End to End solution

PLUM ERP comes with full integration to various business modules including Purchasing, Finance,
marketing, Establishment, Academics, Workflow, Project management, Estate Management, Guest
House Management, HR & Payroll etc. as applicable to any educational institution.

10. Email, SMS Integration

Most other applications need these services as an additional add-on and in PLUM ERP the same are in
built into the application. The application also provides facility to bulk mailing and SMS subjected to
the Government of India norms as applicable.

11. Reports

In PLUM, the user can define his reports by simple “check the field” model and thereby do not have to
depend on any other resource.

12. Dashboards

PLUM ERP offers the dash boards as an integral part of the ERP where as in other applications, these
are separate add-ons.

13. Audit Trail

The application provides ability to turn on audit trail for all key transactions in the system. Audit trail
provides information to track what information is changed, when and by whom - including the date
stamp, field corrected, IP from where corrected and the User ID.

14. Document Management and Communications

In PLUM ERP documents can be attached to objects and is an integral package. These are offered as
an additional module with Document Management Server DMS which is an additional application
from 3rd parties.

15. Task Management

Across the application PLUM ERP integrates task creation and management throughout different
modules. The tasks not only provide reminders to individuals, but also provide detailed reports to
management to provide transparency and accountability across the organization.

16. News Letter Feature

PLUM ERP also facilitates email new letter based on the daily data / financial performance.

17. Integration to Microsoft Office

Most of the reports of PLUM ERP are totally compatible with MS excel, MS word and other software.

18. Export Reports to MS-Excel, PDF Format

PLUM ERP has the facility to export all the reports generated into Excel format.

19. Mobile Access

Some of the MIS features are made compatible to the latest Notepads, android, apple and windows
