Name HEAVY-DUTY READY-TO-USE DEGREASER


No. 1204
Description This high-active general purpose degreaser combines an effective nonionic Alcohol Ethoxylate
with an amide (STEPOSOL® MET-10U) that provides solvo-surfactant properties to quickly cut
through grease without the use of traditional glycol solvents. This formulation can also be used
as a laundry pre-spotter. All ingredients are readily biodegradable.

BIO-TERGE® PAS-8S 10.0 Hydrotrope
BIO-SOFT® N1-7 5.0 Emulsifier, Cleansing Agent
STEPOSOL® MET-10U 4.0 Surfactant/Solvent
Fragrance, Preservative, and Dye q.s. Additives

Procedure 1. Charge Deionized Water.
2. With good agitation, blend in BIO-TERGE® PAS-8S.
3. When clear, add BIO-SOFT® N1-7.
4. Once clear, add STEPOSOL® MET-10U.
5. Add Fragrance, Preservative and Dye as needed.
6. Mix until homogenous.

Instructions Use as is. Apply to surface and then wipe with a clean cloth.

Marketing Notes: Formulation is VOC compliant with U.S. Federal and all State VOC standards for
Non-aerosol General Purpose Degreasers as of January 2019. For U.S. formulators, STEPOSOL®
MET-10U is a low vapor pressure VOC (LVP-VOC), therefore its contribution to the VOC
calculation is zero. STEPOSOL® MET-10U does not contribute to the VOC calculation because of
its high boiling point and low vapor pressure.
