division of skin cells. Skin cancer is
classified between 3 broad categories:
basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell

cancers even though it makes up only

development of cancer in the melanocyte
cells. The melanocyte cells are responsible
for the pigment in one's skin and cause the
skin to change tone when tanning.
