Thanks for your continuous support to McQuay Shenzhen products. We are pleased to inform you
that the brand new version McQuay Smart Tools has finished and the software has been tested
strictly and used stably and reliably. It will be officially launched on 17th May 2019, software latest
version is V2.0. It includes the following units selection.
1. Air Cooled Single Screw Chiller/Heat Pump Selection Software V4.0.05
2. Air Cooled Chiller(Heat Pump) Selection Software V1.0.06
3. MDS Selection Software V1.0.08 (Only for AMSS market)
4. Modular Air Cooled Chiller/Heat Pump Selection Software V1.0.3
5. Fan Coil Unit Selection Software V1.0.08
6. Air Handling Units Selection Software V2.0
Kindly note that AHU selection software adopts a brand new selection interface, the detailed
functions can be found in “AHU McQuay Smart Tools (V2.0) User Manual”.

1. Software instructions:
 Software supports computer operating systems above Windows 7.

 The existing user name can access to this new software, new user name need to contact

factory.
 One user name can be only accessed one computer.

2. Old and new software:


The selection packages are incompatibility between the new and old versions software, after
the launch of the new software, the old version software will stop creating new projects and
creating new units, but still retain the function of reading and modifying the selection for current
jobs. The old version software will stop using on 30th Sept. 2019.

4. AHU selection software:


AHU selection software includes: DDM-E/C, DDW-C, FUW-F, FUW-V, FUW-A.

Followings are new functions update:


4.1 DDM selection platform:
 New interface design: icons, interface styles are more user friendly;
 New function adding: quick selection, set template, template selection, unit range switch,
batch modify, coil face velocity setting, automatic division;
 New Section adding: plate type heat recovery, secondary return air, channel filter for DDM-E;
 File output adding: parameters list output, PDF report output, simplified drawing output,
wiring list output, etc.

4.2 DDW-C selection platform:


 Horizontal & Vertical: The model selection is changed to optional, 2 to 3 bigger models can be
selected to satisfy low air velocity application.

 Vertical: Delete DDW400C and DDW450C due to the height limitation of container.

4.3 FUW-F selection platform:


 New single skin Air Handling Units FUW-F which with 4 pipes will replace FUW-H.
Refer to marketing bulletin“CMBM003-1905 Single skin AHU will update to FUW-F series”.
