STRUCTURAL DESIGN

You are requested to conduct a detail study on the Contribution Factors to


Failures Cases in Building Industry. Attachement of 4 case studies ( 2 in
Malaysia & 2 from oversea) with detail explanation should be carried out in
your report.

The aim and objective of this assignment:

i) To have a sound basic understanding of the Building failure cases.


ii) To analyse the detail causes & factors contribute to the incidents.

DETAIL TASKS:

i) Find out the cases from internet, book or related information.


ii) Do a detail analysis with add any appropriate diagrams or pictures.
iii) The report must be written in English, A4 size paper
iv) Submission of report & Poster presentation (A1) on Week 14
v) Range of page number (40-60) including appendices & references.
vi) Assignment weightage = 30%
