IV. Essay. 15 points.

66-70. If you are given the chance to talk to the Philippine President, what would it be? Why? Elaborate your
answer.
Mr. President, good morning sir. I hope you are doing well right now. I hope you are in good health
right now; we still need you, and we need you badly. I'll tell him that I understand how difficult it is to lead a
country beset by criticism, but I hope he will persevere until the end, believing and trusting in God since
nothing is impossible for Him, especially if he believes what he is doing is right for the country. The Lord is
prepared to demonstrate to others how difficult and frail he is. Thank you for everything; thank you for
reassuring me that there is still reason to be hopeful.

71- 75. What is your idea about the continuous poverty your fellow citizen is experiencing? What could be the
possible reasons? What can you contribute to uplift it?
Filipinos had some of the world's brightest minds, they nevertheless struggled to survive in the
shadows. The poverty rate was among the lowest in the world. Poverty is, in fact, a chain reaction that begins
with the societal foundations. Filipinos have a deep attachment to their familiar surroundings. They don't hustle
in the majority of cases, but not all. They will simply accept the fact that being poor is not a sin, and that there
isn't enough opportunity for them to succeed. They are sensitive to issues and do not realize that everything
they do in their everyday life is inextricably linked to their family's well-being. Moreover, people who are
innovative, but their visions and aspirations do not match up in terms of survival success and Filipinos are
deeply religious people. To summarize, all of the features described affect and come from the source, which is
the family, a contributory factor to the fundamental cause of the problem. There will be no major contributions
to their elevation unless various policies are polished and implemented with openness, and appropriate
individuals are assigned to carry out the goals and objectives for the public's development.

76- 80. Reflect on the quote below:

“The purpose of learning is not to give exams in class and forget about it, but to increase the knowledge until
they possess an area of the earth for God almighty” ― Sunday Adelaja
The majority of the time, students are primarily concerned with their scores, which they will receive if
they do well on their examinations, and they tend to forget what they have studied once the exam is finished.
The true goal of education, on the other hand, is to expand one's knowledge base.
