Roles and Responsibilities:


1) Controlling our vehicles in the woreda, assigning them to work, working when they break
down, providing technical inspection
2) Coordinating and Collaborate on the multi-sectoral budget requests for 17 woreda sector
officer in getting budget approval from the regional State Council at the beginning of the fiscal
year.
3) Manage,monitor,evaluate nearly 20 million ETB woreda buget for the 17 woreda sector offices
4) Support and coordinate the internal audit for the 17 sectour
5) Supervise and order the payment of salaries, allowances, and other benefits to more than
2,000 employees in the woreda.
6) Developing annual procurement plan and Receiving and reviewing purchase request for the
sectors
7) Ensuring purchase requests (PR’s) are adequately specific and complete
8) Based on the approved PRs, preparing Request for Quotation (RFQ), facilitate RFQ/bid
opening, do bid analysis and preparing Purchase Request (PO) for selected suppliers and
ensuring compliance to government procurement policies
9) Ensuring that incoming materials from suppliers are in good order and properly checked
before receipt
10) In collaboration with purchase/bid committee, conduct competitive procurement process and

campaign.
20) Consult with local community structures and become active coordinators of the local
community group and community volunteers in the Polio SIA campaign and follow up on the
community action plan.
21) Mobilize NGO( Non-governmental organizational) funds (Polio Vaccination, Measles ,Carter
Center, etc.) in the woreda to benefit more than 21,000 households.
22) Develop, plan, monitor, and oversee activities to ensure good working relationships with
security and other relevant sector personnel.
23) Develop participatory planning and implementation activities with relevant local government
agencies, administration, community organizations, and communities.
24) Strengthen relationships with senior administrators, task committees, HDAs( health
development Army), kebele managers, kebele chairpersons, cabinet members, and relevant
government and private institutions.
25) Mobilize the rural community in the woreda by mobilizing agrarian (soil and water conservation worker).
