Before we finally delve into the lesson proper, what is the best way to determine
client's values and preferences when assisting in health care decision making?
The best way is to speak with your medical team in depth and research your
patients' health issues to ensure you fully understand your medical condition and
your options. For the patient's participation, mutual communication between the
treatment team and the patient is required, so that information and knowledge can
be shared between them, giving the patient a sense of control and responsibility,
and thus involving the patient in care activities (mental or physical). You can use
the three factors of medical decision making, the three decision-making factors in
healthcare are shared decision-making, improving patient health outcomes, and
supporting patient-centeredness during care encounters.

learning for all children.
