Interview
Good morning. I'm Joy. I’ve been making different types of stories for almost two
years, and they’re all based on my imagination or my intellect. When it comes to honing my
skills and expanding my knowledge, I watch a few videos on YouTube. I also help my family
run our business, which helps me strengthen my physical presence.
I believe that your company will surely prove to be an excellent platform for me to
share my skills and knowledge. Even though I am a fresher, I assure you that I will give my
best so that I can contribute as much as I can towards your company's growth.
What do you know about our company? Why do you want this job?
I knew I wanted to apply for the job as soon as I saw it offered online. Aside from
possessing the necessary abilities, talents, and attributes to be an efficient and
knowledgeable HR assistant, I was drawn to your company for two reasons. The first reason
is that I see you as a solid leader in your business with an excellent reputation. The second
reason is that you have a high percentage of staff retention. So this tells me that you are a
good company to work for.
Tell me about the last time a co-worker or customer got angry with you. What
happened?
Since , I've been assisting my family in running a business. There are a lot of people I
interact with, but the last time a customer got mad at me was because I forgot to double
check his surname, which is needed to encode to the smart padala system. So, it turns out
that I misspelt his surname. But I waited for him to calm down before I explained myself and
admitted that I made a mistake.
Describe your dream job
My dream job is to be the CEO of a large corporation that can provide opportunities
to people, particularly those who don't have an educational background but have skills that
can be applied to the work that they are applying for.
Tell me about the toughest decision you had to make in the last six months.
To be honest, when I was in junior high school, I was sure of what I wanted in my life
but when I became a senior high school student, I began to question my own decision. Did I
really want to go on this path or not? That was the question popping in my mind, even at
night. But then, days passed, months passed, and I was still undecided. So, I asked close
people around me, and I think that helped me choose my desired career. And that was the
toughest decision I had to make.
My aim for the first three months would be to become comfortable with your
company's operations and procedures. I will ask a lot of questions and spend plenty of time
learning as well as working.
I'd like to do things that can boost my confidence as a woman and do things that can
make me happy.
Tell me about a time you disagreed with a decision. What did you do ?
As I said earlier, I keep my mind open to the possibility of a situation like this. I'm
making sure that my co-worker is also open to communicating with me. so that we can make
a good decision.
How do you handle failure?
I tried to take each failure as a learning experience, but there were times when I got
emotional about the mistake that I'd made. After that, I'll attempt to come up with a solution
and remain as optimistic as possible, because there's always a new goal to strive for.
I'd define my leadership style as democratic because I'm always striving to empower
individuals and get them involved in the HR department's decisions.
