Lakme is a leading Indian brand of cosmetics and beauty products. It was founded in the year 1952 and is owned by global MNC -
Hindustan Unilever Limited. It is considered one of the most trusted brands in India with a respectable position in the beauty and
fashion industry worldwide.The company has made a niche for itself among competing cosmetic brands globally.

Challenge

Lakme organizes over 12 to 15 shopping mall events annually across India. Their coveted marketing event - Lakme India Fashion week
is organized bi-annually. They wanted an experienced single point of contact solutions provider for their Pan India brand communication
events that would reduce operation cost and execution hassles at their end. Their primary objective was an exhibit solution that reflected
their global brand image. The solution had to be in compliance with Lakme’s brand guidelines.

The Lakme brand communication events would be organized at multiple locations across Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities in India.

There was a critical challenge to achieve a consistent


look irrespective of its location or floor plan
differences.
Additionally, the experiential space at the Lakme India Fashion Week had to carry an upscale classy look that matched their brand value
at the exclusive event.
Solution

To ensure Lakme’s brand image reflected in its marketing events,


Insta offered the Portable and feature rich – ExpoPrestige™
Exhibit System.

The ExpoPrestige™ kit could be reconfigured to suit different

floor plans and yet achieve a consistent look due to its modular
pre-engineered parts. This proved beneficial to Lakme who
marketed their products at several shopping malls and outdoor
spaces throughout India.

Lakme made a one-time investment in purchasing three


ExpoPrestige™ kits for their events across India. The re-usable

solution had a unique benefit of switching graphics according to

the company’s promotional campaigns while the hardware could

remain the same. This resulted in optimum cost efficiency for their
marketing initiatives.

The kit is packed in specially designed Roto molded cases with


wheels making it easy to transport anywhere which made it an apt
solution for Lakme’s multiple location mall activations.

ExpoPrestige™ kit was also used for their coveted bi-annual event -
Lakme India Fashion Week. The kit has seamless vinyl graphic
panels which gave the booth a classy look and complemented the
sophistication of the event. Additionally, the kits modular nature
allowed customization for utilities such as product shelves, product
display counters, reception counter and aesthetic lighting.

Going the Extra Mile

• Storage: Insta stored Lakme kits in our strategically located


warehouses across India.

• Logistics and Transportation: Insta transported the


ExpoPrestige™ kits to the venue and post-event, brought it back to
our warehouse.

• Installation and Dismantling: Our experienced project


management team went on-site for venue recce, booth installation
as well as dismantling of the stand post-event.
