Technique: 1. Add as many 0s to the 9s in the denominator as many digits present after the decimal sign but are not recurring. In eg1 there is no such digit so, no 0 is used In eg2 - there are 2 digits -5 & 2 after the decimal sign but are not recurring so 2 0s are concatenated to the 9s in the denominator. 3. Write the entire number in the numerator without the decimal sign and the recurring sign and then subtract from it that part of the number which is not recurring. In eg1 40 is the nonrecurring part and in eg2 2552 is the nonrecurring part. A prime number can be expressed in 6n 1 form but not necessarily vice-versa. Check whether a number is prime or not : To check whether a number is prime , check the divisibility of the number by all natural numbers upto the square-root of the number. Eg. To check whether 221 is a prime number or not, we will check the divisibility of 221 by 2,3,4,5,till 15 since 221 < 15. If say we find that the number is divisible by 13 we wont be checking it for 14 & 15 as it is already confirmed that the number is not prime.
