SPECIAL POWER OF ATTORNEY

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:

I, the UNDERSIGNED, of legal age, Filipino and a legal heir of the late Spouses Agustin
D. Narciso Sr. and Aurora M. Narciso and whose respective addresses are indicated below,
hereinafter referred to as the PRINCIPAL, do hereby name, appoint and constitute either
SARAH N. ARISTON, widowed, of legal age, Filipino and resident of Narciso Compound, Brgy.
City Heights, General Santos City, or LUZ N. SALAMAT, married to Arcadio V. Salamat, Jr., of
legal age, Filipino and resident of 14 Mayflower St., Lexington Garden Village, San Joaquin,
Pasig City, as our ATTORNEYS-IN-FACT, to do and perform the following, to wit:

1. To represent me in negotiating with General Santos Doctor’s Hospital, Inc. and its
duly authorized representatives, hereinafter referred to as the VENDEE, for the sale
of the portion of land covered by TRANSFER CERTIFICATE OF TITLE NO. T-2936 of
the Registry of Deeds for General Santos City, Mindanao and registered under the
name of the Spouses Agustin D. Narciso Sr. and Aurora M. Narciso, containing an
area of FIVE THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED NINETY FIVE SQUARE METERS (5,895
sq.m.), more or less, located at Barrio Lagao, General Santos City, Mindanao,
hereinafter referred to as the SUBJECT PROPERTY;

2. To sell, assign and dispose of the subject property to the VENDEE under such terms
and conditions as acceptable to my ATTORNEYS-IN-FACT;

3. To sign, execute and deliver the necessary instrument of conveyance covering such
sale including any and all documents that may be necessary or required thereto;

4. To deliver the possession of the property to said VENDEE;

5. To receive the proceeds of the sale, either in cash or in check;

6. To pay necessary expenses, including but not limited to, the processing and
payment of the taxes for the sale of the subject property;

7. To pay, discharge, and settle any and all debts, obligations, taxes or other liabilities
which the Estate of the Spouses Narciso, now or may hereafter owe to or incur in
favor of any person, corporation, partnership, or any other entity or in favor of the
Philippine government, its agencies or instrumentalities;

8. To transact business with the Bureau of the Internal Revenue (BIR), City Assessor’s
Office, Registry of Deeds (ROD), Land Registration Authority (LRA), and/or any
government offices in all matters relating to the aforementioned real properties; and

9. To execute any and all acts necessary to effectuate the foregoing purpose/s;

HEREBY GIVING AND GRANTING unto the above-named persons full power and
authority to do and perform all and every act and thing whatsoever requisite or necessary to be
done in and about the premises as fully to all intents and purposes as I might or could do if
personally present; and HEREBY RATIFYING AND CONFIRMING all that my Attorney-In-Fact
shall lawfully do or cause to be done by virtue of these presents.
