Assignment CH-2 Microorganisms

This document contains assignments on microorganisms for a class. It includes questions asking students to draw diagrams of different types of microorganisms, justify differences between viruses and other microbes, define microbiology terms, classify bacteria by shape with examples, describe where microbes are found in nature, explain processes like fermentation and why antibiotics don't work on viruses. It also asks students to differentiate between antibiotics and antibodies, bacteria and bacteriophage, means of disease spread, uses of fungi and algae. The second assignment defines more microbiology terms and asks questions on nitrogen fixers, uses of microbes in food production, how vaccines prevent disease, nitrogen cycles and food preservation.
