 Task B:
Answer the following questions:

1. Did your time spent online differ from your estimate?

For me it has no Different from my estimated because as I expected I

always choose to spend my time in social media than watching television or
going anywhere. And also because of hectic schedule I never expect that I’m
going to get a long relaxation time. There is one thing different and it is about
what I’m doing while online, before when I spent my time in social media I also
checking news feed watching video but now I spent my time in online by
updating what was going on to our grouping activity. Also I’m using online
platform to search for individual activity.

2. Were you surprised by the difference?

No, because I spent my time naturally therefore it is normal to me that I was

addicted in using social media than doing something. And actually before I spent
my time in social media whole day that’s why I’m not surprised with the result.

3. Do you think the chart offers a true account of your online behavior?

Yes, it shows how I’m addicted in online world. And it is just like I can’t live
without social media and online platform. Every minute, every hour I always tend to
online especially if there’s a lot of activity needed to pass.

4. Do you think you should change your online behavior? Give reasons to
explain your decision.

Yes, because too much using online platform can give different effects
especially to your emotional, physical, and mental health. Social media can
caused you illnesses and one of it is your eyes can be blur and sometimes it
caused insomnia. Another one you forget to eat at proper time because of social
media also you’re lacking in sleep because of too much used of online platform.

As a young generation I need to preserve my healthy living life style

therefore it needs to stop my online behavior. And did you know because of my
online behavior I’m lacking my personal communication it was not the same as
before, that I’m so sociable person I always want to go outside than using my
phone or something. I know I can control it I just need time.
 Task C
Compare your completed chart with your groupmates. What conclusion
can you draw about the online behavior of people your age?

Based on our chart we are prominent in using gadgets and lot of our time
was spent online than offline activities. Most used online platform at our age was
Facebook, Youtube, Messenger, Tiktok and other platform. Also online class has a
greater contribution in our time spending online and we are lacking personal
communication, family time and other outdoors activities.

The online behavior of millennial is not easy to stop especially when they
are bored they watch movies online instead reading books. Online activity is
addicted especially now it continued to develop.

 Task D
How long could you probably last without digital technology? Explain
your response.

Maybe 2 or 3 hours is the longest as long I’m enjoying what I’m doing.
As shown in my chart you will notice that I cannot stop myself to not to online
in one day. But I know one thing that will stop me to online in a day and it is
about the internet, when there’s no internet I can’t online therefore, I’m going
to find some activities that will catch my interest.

Conclusion/Reflection:

I conclude that the online behavior of people at my age is not different to

others. Lot of millennial spent time online because of academic purposes and
sometime entertainment. More people at my age choose to rest when they are
not online than doing extreme activities maybe it is because of tiredness they
feel during online class. Online behavior need to control at a young age to
prevent addiction. As you can see to all result, we lacked from personal
communication and sometimes in family time. As a millennial we should start
controlling our online behavior and practice time management. And I believed
in phrase “time is gold” so start to have meaningful life.
