Students in Teacher Education Institutions” as a requirement for the

Lack of immediate feedback from instructors that causes anxiety.

Interacting with the instructors has become harder in online classes.

Having a hard time collaborating with the other students.

Ineffective delivery of knowledge content virtually.

Lack of individual assessment within the groups

Could not get adequate feedback and sharing in distance education.

Lack of proper interactive social learning environment creates hurdles in


distance education.
Lack of communication among students hinders the learning process in
distance education.

Lose the contextual cues, inflection in voice, pauses, and body language.

Difficult to understand others’ points of view or their own points

Doing the tasks and assignments just to accomplish it.

Having poor time management skills, which affect the online learning

Lacking of the ability to control thoughts, emotions, and actions during


online classes.

Usually watching videos, play mobile games, and use social media (i.e.,
Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and etc.) before doing the assigned tasks.

ADJUSTMENT STRATEGIES 4 3 2 1

Creating a schedule for activities on a regular basis to minimize cramming


and late submissions.

Allotting a certain amount of time to study and complete asynchronous


activities.

Usually taking a short break when finishing a task to relax the brain before
continuing it.

Setting up a productive regular workplace that enable to keep organized


and focused in class and completing tasks.
Giving myself rewards whenever I finish activities and projects and
perform well during my class.
Learning to stay motivated by boosting the interest in the task and
connecting it to own life experiences.

Joining virtual meetings, live chats or video tutorials to maintain a human


connection. 

Preparing gadgets and needs for online class, such as cellphone, laptop,
computer tablets, headphones, and camera before synchronous classes
begin.

Borrowing other gadgets from family if there is a need for more gadgets to
use during online classes and online examinations.

Familiarizing with the use of electronic devices such as laptops, cellphones,


computers, and tablets.

Browsing and practicing how to use presentation software and web-based


tools such as Google Docs and online class applications such as Google
Meet, Zoom, and Google Classroom to familiarize themselves with their
use.

Avoid installing applications that are unnecessary to save storage for


online class applications and files.
