Minimum Clearances Required For Indoor Termination Kits

This document provides tables of minimum clearance requirements for indoor cable termination kits according to different voltage standards. Table 1 gives minimum air clearances between live metal parts and between live metal and earth for terminations without bushing boots. Table 2 gives reduced minimum clearances when bushing boots are fitted. Table 3 gives minimum clearances between cable cores and between cores and earth. Table 4 gives minimum clearances between the top of stress control tubing and cable lugs. Table 5 provides impulse voltage withstand levels for indoor terminations installed with bushing boots.
