REALIZATION, INSIGHT AND LEARNINGS
How do the values exemplified by the stories affect our actions as Filipino citizens?
Student’s Answer:

Filipinos have several values that we practice. There is the Bayanihan, where we help each other to
achieve a goal. People always have a specific set of values that tells their behavior and manner in a specific
situation or event.

One of the topics tackled is the importance of a family. We Filipino are very family-oriented and what
we are today is affected by our family. Another topic is being honest and telling the truth. We should
always tell the truth because telling lies always results in bad things. Equality is also mentioned on the
stories because we are all equal. There are no superior people in this world because we are all just the
same. Next is working towards a common good. We should always help each other because it is easier to
work with someone to attain a goal that we want. Lastly is taking care of the environment. Our nature is
our main source of our need, so in order to payback, we need to take care of it for the benefit of each
side.

These values transform us to be better people. We should always practice having these positive values
because it will help us to be happier and better. With the right set of values, anyone in this world can
attain the best life we could wish for.
