Ladies and gentlemen, as we are about to begin,

please be seated. First, I would like to seek your


cooperation in completing this RESEARCH CONGRESS.
Kindly switch your mobile phone to silent mode to
avoid interruption. Thank you for your kind
cooperation and attention.

In our modern world today,


whenever we have questions of the unknown,
we tend to say, no worries, we have google and
youtube.
We think that our WHYs can easily be answered
by them.

However, our minds are beyond horizon


of limitless possibilities, questions and uncertainties.
So, we never stop doing research,
Even in times of COVID-19

That is why we are gathered today for our


1st GAD School-based RESEARCH CONGRESS
Which we themed:
RESEARCH AS A TRANSFORMATIVE AGENT FOR
PROMOTING GENDER EQUALITY IN THE TEACHING
AND LEARNING PRACTICES AMIDST THE PANDEMIC

This is in line with our Deped VISION of Filipinos


realizing their full potential and our Deped MISSION
of shared responsibility for developing life-long
learners.

Good morning! Canduman National High School
Principal, faculty, staff, students, and dignitaries of
Deped Mandaue City.
I’m Ms. Winslet, and it is my pleasure to be your
Emcee for today.

On behalf of the RESEARCH CONGRESS COMMITTEEs,


First and foremost, I would like to extend a very
warm welcome to all of you. We appreciate you
taking time off your busy schedules to join us today.
We hope you will learn a lot and our program will be
fruitful, fun and engaging.

Our preliminaries: first is the CHECKING OF
ATTENDANCE. May we request the subject area
coordinators to kindly keep track or list the teachers
in your area who stay from start to finish for them to
get their certificates of attendance. Thank you.

So, at this point,


May I invite everyone to invoke the God Almighty.
May I request all of you to stand for invocation and
national anthem. We would like to start this program
with the National anthem to be conducted by Ma’am
Genevesa C. Sabal and followed by a prayer to be led
by Sir David B. Toring.

WELCOME REMARKS, we have our very kind and
supportive school head, the main director of this 1st
GAD Based Research Congress, Madam Flora R.
Ylanan, Principal IV of Canduman National High
School.

the pandemic and we are very proud to witness the
fruits of labor of these very brave souls who accepted
the big challenge and be involved. Student
