II. Essay. (10pts)

Because fresh, drinkable water is such a limited resource, it is important to
conserve water in our daily lives.Conserving water is increasingly important
these days. Not only is it beneficial for the environment, but it's also useful for
saving money in these challenging economic times. As a student in such a simple
way we can help to conserve water in 10 ways.

1. Check all faucets, toilets and showerheads for leaks.

As a student we should be more responsible in all ways just like switching off
tightly your faucet when you noticed it was leaking. You'll be surprised at the
amount of water that can be wasted from even a small leak.

2.Turn off the faucet while washing the dishes.

It is part of our household chores to wash the dishes and we are responsible to
save water by turning off the faucet while soaping and scrubbing it. Put less or
enough water on the basin for soaping and as well as on rinsing the dishes or
rinsing it while the faucet is turned on in a poor flow.

3.Turn off the faucet while brushing your teeth.

Brushing teeth is important to keep the beautiful smile of us but how we keep this
smile if our water is being wasted. Using a glass of water in brushing teeth is one
of the easiest ways to save water, and it is simple to make it into a habit.

4.Take shorter shower

Being clean in our body is crucial but there is a saying “all too much is bad” .
Taking a shower for an accurate period of time is just right. We don't need to take
a shower for too long just to make ourselves clean.Think wisely. Water is limited.

5.Measure your drinking capability.

Measuring the water you're drinking plays a vital role in conserving water. When
too much we take water in our source, we don't have another option aside from
throwing it away because we don't expect anyone would drink it for your
especially in this pandemic time.XD

6.Use your water jar or your own bottled water.

In drinking water, we should use a water jar to conserve water. Jar helps us to
store our water clean therefore the water in it can drink multiple times until it's
gone because it is clean. We could cover it anytime anywhere and it avoided us to
throw the water because we thought it was clean because it has a cover.

7.Catch rainwater
We are in the Philippines where storms or typhoons frequently land and have a
rainy season. It is just right to catch rainwater for us to conserve water and use it
in watering the plants instead of using water from the faucet. We already
conserve water, we also save money for electricity bills

8.Water by hand.
In watering our plants we can conserve water more when we are using our hand
to water our plants instead of faucets. In this way we can measure the water we
are giving to the plants.

9.Save every drop of water.

In the front of the faucets, water gallon, roof and things that have a possibility to
leak put a basin to catch the water and use it.

10.Be a water conscious

Thinking about what's good to conserve water helps us to limit ourselves to
consume a lot of it.
