Lesson Plan in English 7 FILIPINO VALUES

I. Objectives
At the end of the lesson, the students will be able to:
a. Understand Filipino values and how it shapes Philippine society
b. Demonstrate strengths and weaknesses of a Filipino character
c. Value the importance of Filipino traits and culture

GUESS THE SONG


 The teacher will play Instrumental Filipino Songs (Cultural,
Makabayan, Folk Song, etc.)
 Students will listen to the music played and guess the title of the
Filipino song.

C. Lesson Proper
 The teacher will have an interactive discussion with the students
about the lesson through power point presentation.

D. Activities
PICTURE OUT
 The teacher will show random pictures about Filipino values and
culture.
 Students will describe the pictures and determine the Filipino
values that will be shown.

E. Abstraction
 What is the great influence of our Filipino Values in the
Philippine society?
 How this traits and values shape us?
 What/How can Filipinos (values) contribute to the world?

F. Application
PAINT ME A PICTURE
 Students will be grouped into two groups.
 They will describe and demonstrate the strength and
weaknesses of the Filipino characters through paint me a
picture.

IV. Assessment
 Write the Filipino Values to be used in each situation and
explain.
Situation: Humanity all over the
world is being affected with Situation: Due to our abuse, the
Covid19 pandemic which kills planet is now experiencing global
millions of people. This will not warming which causes stronger
end unless we will do something typhoons and other disasters.
