LEARNING SUPPORT AIDE

ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT
(S.Y. 2021-2022)

The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in at least one positive outcome: a

greater appreciation for the value of public education. As parents struggle to work

with their children at home due to school closures, public awareness of the critical

caretaking role that schools play in society has risen dramatically. As students

struggle to learn at home, parents' appreciation for teachers, their skills, and their

vital role in student well-being has grown. That is why the Department of Education

(DepEd) has devised a strategy to assist our indigenous people with their education,

particularly during the pandemic. They issue the enclosed Guidelines for Using

Learning Support Aides to Reinforce the Implementation of the Basic Education

Learning Continuity Plan in the Event of a Covid-19 Pandemic. In accordance with

this, Parapal Elementary School was successful in obtaining a teacher assistant who

would guide the school's pupils. That person is Manilyn A. Gonzales, an Ambala

native and graduate (HRS) who is eager to serve her community. From May 3, 2021,

to the present, she has been teaching her community.
