BG Tools Usage Instructions

Our Company's Interpretation Shall Prevail.

Note this software is only for Bolymedia’s cameras of BG500

SERIES, MG982K-12mHD,MG983G,SG880MK and MG882K.Also

this software is only used for Android mobile phone,please search

BGTools in your APP Store if you need an IOS one.

1 、Install BG Tools.apk to your smart phone.

2、Open the BG Tools app,click on the icon add a new device.

3、Choose your camera

① Input a name for you camera ② Input your SIM card number

which is inserted in your camera. ③ Choose your camera model

number,then click“Add”
。

4、Set super user number and password.For the first time use the

super user password is 0518.(The Super User number is the SIM

card number which is inserted in your mobile phone).

5、In the step 4 Click“send”,then choose the country and provider

according to your SIM card.

6、Click “Check WAP/Internet Parameters” to check whether you

have all parameters filled in. The “User name and User Password ”

is your MMS name and password.

7、Select Mail Server:Boly Email or Other Email.

8、Select the Boly Email Service.Input a Boly Email and “Check

Gprs Parameters”. The “User name and User Password ”is your

GPRS name and password.

9 、 Select the other Email service.You should input your Email

address、Password、Email Server and Email Port. (If you use an SSL


email such as Gmail as sending email, please click “Advanced” button to mark
it.)

10、Select“my device” you can add or delete a device.

11、Select“Seting”（step 10） to set users parameters or set to

default.

Set work parameters: Set the parameters contains(camera

mode、photo size、video size、 photo burst、video length 、time

lapse 、PIR Interval、Send to 、Send Mode、SMS Control、Camera

Position、Work hour) .

Alter email server:You can change the send email and password

as you want.

Alter mms parameters: You can change the MMS parameters.

Set receiving email: Input your receive email .

Set receiving phone: Input your receiving phone number.

12、Select “Get Photos” means you can get a photo from you

camera device.There are two ways Cellphone: Send MMS to

phone; Email : Send to email by GPRS.

13、Select “Advanced” to set

Super user information, change

password,Format SD card, System

Checking, Arming, Disarming. View

the Version.

Set password: Super user can re-set

password if you forget or want change it.

Super User Password: Use your

password to change your super user.
