Narrative Report on 6th LAC Session

 Information and Communication Technology or ICT has been part of


the teaching-learning process especially now that we are in the 21 st century.
Teachers make use of computer-assisted instruction. Microsoft Word is used in
making report, Microsoft Excels used in making grades, Microsoft PowerPoint is used in
making presentations of lessons and Publisher is used in lay outing bulletin boards and
displays. These are Just some of the many ways ICT is being used in education.

The training was held on October 21, 2020 at Filipino-Chinese


Friendship Elementary School. The session formally started with a prayer through
audio-visual presentation followed by opening remarks by our School Principal Ma’am
Gienemay G. Graza. Ma’am Cecil E. Amandac, our ICT Coordinator was the speaker
who is knowledgeable on those skills which she acquired during her seminars. She
talked about “ Basic Introduction on ICT – using Microsoft Excel”. S he taught the
participants the basic formulas in computing necessary in making test results and analysis.
We had a chance to apply the inputs given to us by our speaker because we brought
our own laptops.

Narrative Report on 7th LAC Session

Teachers play a crucial role in achieving quality education


for all amid COVID-19 PANDEMIC. In this crisis, teachers have shown great
leadership and innovation in ensuring that “Learning never stops” that no
learner is left behind. Around the world, teachers have worked individually and
collectively to find solutions and create new learning environments for their
students to allow education to continue. The Department of Education again
extend their expertise in giving the full support on the RPMS-PPST to be continually
implemented until teachers and Master teachers reaches the 37 objectives.

The session formally started with a prayer through audio-visual


presentation. Ma’am Gienemay G. Graza take about “ RPMS-PPST” S.Y. 2020-
2021 in the new normal on February 22, 2021. She gave clear understanding and
deeper knowledge on what to do during class observations, important documents
needed and expected outputs. At the end of her session, we were able to
understand well the preparation and how the ratings go.

Narrative Report on 9th LAC Session

The Department of Education (DepEd) promotes a zero-violence for

any act of child abuse, exploitation, violence, discrimination, bullying and other forms of
abuses. In this regard, our Child Protection Policy Coordinator Ma’am Mitchel Joy A. Roa

shared her knowledge on “Child Protection Policy and the Need or it” which she acquired
during her recent seminar. The training was held on February 26, 2021 at Filipino-Chinese

Friendship Elementary School. The session formally started with a prayer and followed by an
opening remarks which was given by our School Principal Ma’am Gienemay G. Graza.

The Deped Policies and Guidelines on protecting children in school


from abuse, violence, exploitation, discrimination, bullying and other forms of abuse is a

great help for teachers in handling of child abuse issues. The policy guidelines is directed to
protect a child from all forms of violence that may be inflicted by adults, persons of

authority, and their fellow students. It serves as a guide for teacher to deal with bullying in
school and disciplining students with commuting child abuse. This was given emphasis in

the said discussion. The CPP aims to protect the welfare of the children from different forms
of abuse (mental and physical) in school with emphasis on bullying including cyber bullying

and corporal punishment. She also mentioned that the CPP was adopted to provide
protection to children in certain difficult circumstances in which they have no control and

administer non-violent punishment to the offender. It also aims to help not only the victim
but also for children committing peer abuse.

Narrative Report on 10th LAC Session

In accordance to Deped Order no, 63, s. 2012 – Guidelines on the


Preparation of Gender and Development (GAD) utilization of GAD Budgets and Submission.
The Filipino-Chinese Friendship Elementary School conducted a seminar through LAC Session
on March 1, 2021. The speaker of the aforementioned seminar was Ma’am Frajilla M. Baluarte,
the Gender and Development Coordinator of our school.

The main goal of the seminar was to inform the teaches about gender
related issues and concerns of men and women in society. We were informed about the
historical roots and growth of Gender and Development. Aside from that, the discussion also
focused on the legal Mandates and Basis of GAD. Various examples were given to illustrate
gender differences inequality, equality, biases, and prejudices. Another topic during the
discussion were gender awareness and sensitivity. The teachers were also accustomed on how
to acknowledge gender differences and promote gender sensitivity in school setting. Other
matters were also tackled like, GAD plans, programs, and other activities of our school.

Narrative Report on 8th LAC Session

The Department of Education (Deped) Regional Office 10 released


Memorandum (RM) No. 74 S. 2021 titled MIDYEAR BRIDGING OF LEARNING GAPS in the
new Learning Landscape on February 19 and was published in its official Deped Regional
Website. The RM stated that there will be two weeks activities on learning gaps and one week
of mid-year in- service training (INSET) to be implemented in the field. These activities will
address teaching learning gaps of the previous quarters, hence preparing the teachers and
learners better for the third quarter.

In accordance to this, the Filipino-Chnese Friendship Elementary


School conducted a seminar through LAC Session. The speaker of the aforementioned
seminar was Ma’am Bebielyn M. Lascuña our Brigada Eskwela Coordinator. She
shared some information that could be able to help the teachers on the preparation on
the said program, it helps each student to improve their intellectual knowledges. Parents
also plays an important role in helping their children by giving them a right guidance
